@Specialist- Delaware, Huron, Cree. If they choose to give you contact to the nations surrounding them, they can.

Alright, if you guys want an update, I'm going to need the rest of the orders. I thank the majority of players that have sent in orders, but there is a sizable portion of you guys that have not given them to me and I'd like to start the update tonight, as I will not be available for much of Friday as my grandmother is having surgery for her breast cancer and I will be in Orange County (two counties away), in a hospital.

Solomonia
Send 40 thousand soldiers to expand east and north to the Nile.
1 econ to build a road between the two main cities.
1 to increase education (a mathematics university)
1 for internal defense (an officer school)
1 for infrastructure (improved sewer and water system in the capital)
2 for trade (stone paved roads to the neighboring nations and a bigger port facility)

Solomonia to Massai :
Hello, noble people. We wish to open a caravan route between our nations to trade goods from the wide world.

Solomonia to Sinhala :
Greetings. We wish to acquire spices and silks. We have textiles, ivory, leather, and rare medals to offer in return.

To: Solomonia
From: Massai

We currently have a trading arrangement with Solomonia, among other nations; we believe the current terms of this arrangement are equitable and unless you wish to renegotiate the terms of this treaty, we find doing so would be unnecessary.

To: Solomnia
From: Sinhala

Sinhalese spices and Chinese silks are always available in our ports to all merchant ships which arrive. Our merchants would be especially interested in acquiring Solomnian metals and leathers -- we have ivory of our own.

I apologize Plexus, but, due to my free time disappearing rapidly, and massive amounts of homework, I am going to be unable to play this. I was looking forward to it as well.

Send 40 thousand soldiers to expand to the Eastern Mountains. We must protect our relgious authoirties!

Solomonia to Massai :

Of course. We are now acquiring greater amounts of a few items, so we felt we should let you know to expect more caravans and more varieties of products. Similarly our merchants will be looking to purchase more of your goods. We would thus like to simply expand the scale of our efforts. The nature of our agreement suits us and we are glad it suits you.

Solomonia to Sinhala :

Very good. Our lateens should begin arriving within days of the arrival of this message.

OOC: Do I have contact with European Nations? And do I have econ to spend? (Sorry, I've never encountered this kind of econ. system in a NES before. )

Orders:
-Set up trade with Miami
-Improve Education.
-Try and research more...

Sorry, not interested, no time.

ORDERS
-Begin expansion up the coasts of Greenland and Baffin Island, as well as possibly colonizing northern Labrador/Ungava Peninsula. Back up this last with 1 Ship of the Line and 3 Frigates.
-Send 2 Frigates eastward to reestablish contact with the Europeans. Also send 3 Frigates down the North American coast on a "voyage of discovery" to see what lies beyond our neighbors.
-Invest 1 econ in infrastructure.

Amen, as far as I understand it, it works like this - you can spend your income, but it will not decrease from that (you get the amount of economy equal to your income every turn). Or, you could store away all your income, or parts of it. Got that?

I think you should update now, to get this off the ground.

Since Erik Mesoy is not joining as Italia I thought I might just repeat this piece of Diplomacy so I can get an NPC answer from Italia.

Thanks :goodjob:

To: Italia, Sicily and Apulia
From: King Silvio of Ferrara
Brothers of the Italian peninsula. I propose we seek to strengthen our weak bonds and join our nations in a much more prosperic economic union. Such a union would be of great benefit to our nations and would certainly help to increase our current individual economic situations greatly. I therefore invite you all to a summit in my palace in Livorno to discuss the terms of such a union. It would be a hugely historic moment for all our nations and I hope you shall accept.
Yours in bortherhood,
King Silvio of the Kingdom of Ferrara and the House of Barduccio
