I apologize Plexus, but, due to my free time disappearing rapidly, and massive amounts of homework, I am going to be unable to play this. I was looking forward to it as well.

I have to quit.

My reasons for leaving are the same as RealGoober's.

I looked forward to this NES also :( :(

It's come to the point where I can barely get online, at all.

I barely have time to get on for minutes.

Sorry :(

@Capulet- Hey, don't worry about it. Its just a little disheartening when a player leaves before the first update but then you realize that you have quite a few players as it is, so your NES isn't tanking at all.

If you ever get the time to play, feel free to come back. :)

Alright, I have 18/20 orders from confirmed player nations. We are en route for a late friday night/early Saturday morning update after I return from Orange County.

I need orders from:

Sicily (alex994)
Vietnam (Global Nexus)

These players have been sent reminders, but feel free to bug them all you want yourself. :D

18 Players?

That's alot :)

It's a nice, well organized NES, so I'm not surprised.

@plex; my suggestion is to, if you dont recive order soon, simpyl bank thier econ; its what i would do in your place when modertaing an NES (and in my NES that I had run, i was known for makign stories about the players who lacked orders throwing a "fund raising kegger"...

to Udialla:
Hello people of Australia. May the Sianug kingdom create trade posts in Australia.

To: Sianug
From: The Udiallian

Yes, you may if you want to fight a long and bloody war. Rest assured that these establishments will be burnt to the ground. I don't want to seem overly millitaristic but these things must be done in the name of peace. There can be no peace with you attempting to colonize my shores.

Alright, change of plans. It seems that I have been comitted by my mom to move my aunt to a new apartment on Saturday. That means that the update will be delayed until Saturday evening. Sorry guys.

That is what I plan to do for confirmed players that do not send in orders, non-confirmed player nations are on temporary NPC for the next two turns.

We shall attend.

Orders later...

a notice

whiel i cannot confirm, as of yet, that i will be exacuateing, there are THREE(!) more hurricanes on the horizon of Florida, and so it may be that I am out for some time, due to loss of power at my home, or that I may have exacuated; that in mind, I would ask you (Plexus) that my nation shoudl NOT be made into an NPC, and that on anyfurther turns "orders" shoudl eb doen in sirit similer to what I have done so far, eg;

1)do thinbgs to make the other Iberian nations more close to Lisboa

2)do things to increse the culture and affulence of Lisboa

3)increse the trade, and industry of Lisboa, using the raw resources in the region as a base for industry, and to make an export, and "middle man" based trade sphere of influence

I already opend trad with wales, and to help faiclitate you getting you ghoods intot he med sea, i instructed my merchants to actas middle men;

Plexus, you shoudl probabley take a look at all this
-you(wales) make more money, and waste less resources, by selling wool at a reasonable cost to Lisboa
-because i act as a middl eman, your own ships only have to travel to lisboa; and because of my nation acting as a middle man, to the nations of the med sea, there is incresed demand foor wool, which your ships, not having to make journeys all the way into the med sea, can capiloize on by delviering more fleece to the northen nations of europe directlly, and to Lisboa directlly
-In turn, lisboa takes that wool, bought at reaosnable cost, and using its trade ships, plies th emed sea, and North africa, creating a larg emarket for the fine wool product sof wales
-the wool is in turn, sold an incresed (but still reasonable, but still highj enough to turn a good profit from the middle-man venture activites)
-Lisboan ships dont have to bother goign to wales to pick up wool diliveries, and can instead, focus on the exproting of the excess inports of wool to forigen nations(as of course, some woudl be consumed by the Lisboan populace, particurlaey at its cheap cost, for a forign "luxury")

all this combine spells out high profits for both you AND me, while maximizing the effeciency of resources used. After all, as the saying goes "waste not; want not"

Silician Orders
Spend 3 economies on cavalry
Spend 1 economy on ship of the line
Spend 2 economies on trade

Alright, I have started the update and am about 25% done with it. But I spent all day moving my aunt and I am so tired, I am nearly falling asleep at the keyboard. I will finish and post tomorrow morning/afternoon. This is the last time I will delay, and I've only delayed because something came up that I had to deal with.

Don't worry, it'll be worth the wait, I have tons of cool stuff coming. I'm just so incredibly tired...

Uh... Where's the update?

Just write stories and work hard on Absolution while Plex gets his act together.

We were talking about how hard a first update is last night, Plex and I, he has to get all the templates together and such. Right now I'm expecting a hell of an update, but I'm willing to forgive.

EQ is slowily loosing his forgiveness because he let his game die right when I was getting inbto it.

Well, I guess the first update CAN be hard in some cases...
