What do you think of this 2D political compass (unfortunately without a test)?

What's the difference between Aristocracy and Tyranny? How can you have a Free Aristocracy?

In short, it's ********.

EDIT: Or an Equal Tyranny?

Not very much. For one thing, You simply cannot place Reagan as more liberty than tyranny. Doesn't make the smallest shred of sense. And the Republican part as a whole does not stretch towards liberty. Plus the Democrats and Republicans should be at least 50% overlapped. They just aren't that different as a whole. Plus I really don't have the respect for "libertarians" being for liberty that that chart implies. Too much of it's the freedom from government so that they can impose their own tyranny.

Contrary to received "wisdom" from the Right, Clinton was very pro-business. Repealing Glass-Steagall alone qualifies him for being well to the right on the economic scale. It could easily be argued he is farther to the right economically than Dubya.

Sure the P-L C. was more free but it certainly was not as free as, say, the US is today or most European countries (including Poland) today.
Why do you say so? Treason is illegal in the United States. It wasn't in Poland-Lithuania. Now that's freedom.

All things considered, Policomp is probably the least horrible political quiz out there :dunno:

Political Compass is the worst test, except for all the others we have tried.

Economic Left/Right: -0.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.41

Strong social libertarian and economically centrist.

Dutch elections coming up, bit of a headache for me.

If I vote who I want, I'd vote for a small center party (D66). If I vote strategically to prevent a righter than right wing government, I'd have to vote for a larger left wing party. (PvdA) Usually, no contest and I'd vote D66. Thing is, the larger left-wing party does have the best candidate for presidency by far, the other 3 candidates are just too pukeworthy to consider. Unless the largest right wing party (VVD) drops toy boy Mark Rutte as candidate (ugh!) and shoves Neelie Kroes into the limelight. Then I could vote D66, because I wouldn't mind as much. But there'll still be that right wing block ...

Lose-Lose scenario.

I just did it again. It hasn't changed much. Maybe, that is really me after all.

Economic: -2.75
Social 1.23

I am in the same quadrant as STALIN!!

Yes but Stalin is farther left and farther up. I probably don't agree with you, but don't worry, you're no Stalin.

Here is CFC (the ones that posted here only) in the PC with names. Hope you like it :)

Please put me in. The exact numbers are in my sig, but IIRC its economic left/right 6.62 Libertarian/Authoritarian 0.72 (Although I would describe myself as a libertarian, but the issue is with extreme ill morality such as abortion or gay adoption I support not allowing, so they say I'm an authoritarian:))

You can put those numbers though.
