Added 3 new possible choices in the EE poll inspired by World Wonders Pack 256 by @Artisanix:

• Canal du Midi (France) (1681) tied to Navigation
• Fontanna di Trevi (Italy) (1776) tied to Economics
• Modlin Fortress (Poland) (1806) tied to EE-Fortifications

You can change your votes to choose new WWs!




Also, few more WWs are planned to be added later on in other eras:

• Sirigiya (Sri Lanka) (Currency) CLASSICAL ERA
• Aqueduct of Padre Tembleque (Mexico) (Metallurgy) RENAISSANCE ERA
• Three Gorges Dam (China) (Alternative Energy) INFORMATION ERA 1
• Global Positioning System (international) (The Internet) INFORMATION ERA 2

What do you think of them? I try to choose the most important and original ones.

Just how many wonders is too many wonders?

Depends on player.

I recently fixed WW blocking mechanic, so you can disable wonders you don't like or don't wanna see. I just give you variety.

I also increased the stacking cost of WW, if you have built some already, so next will be much more expensive than it was in base VP. This shoul lower the wonder spam significantly.

I just found two mods adding total of 384 wonders. Such an amount is tremendous and author didn't try to save the balance. I wanted to catch few of them (art is ready, but I avoided castles, religious buildings, etc.) and apply to MW.

After setting hard reqs and no restriction to eras I don't see any new wonders only base.

Sorry, the culprit was the More Beliefs mod, that I wanted to try. After changing load order seems OK to try and was not the requirements.

Maybe you get an error in database.log? What do you change?

I change "1" to "2" for hard in reqs

Yes, play actually with the last version in hard, with woman voice and Limitation Era, no problem.

Increasing the cost is a very good choice on your part, now you have to think more because you can't really build everything, even with the right locations.
Maybe a little too hard for the first ages but I wait a little longer before deciding.

You know, I can change 50/35/20% modifiers to 40/35/30. For those players who have lots of Wonders from various eras it shouldn't be the any difference, but at the beginning it will be easier to build at least 2 early WWs. Now it punish the most players who built a Wonder from current Era.

Did you resolve your problem? @gwennog says, and I also checked that, everything works fine, so it must be smth on your end.

It seems a good solution, not too much difference in advanced eras because most likely the player will have wonders of different eras but a little more possibility at the beginning .

@gwennog Do you have any further suggestion about buff/nerf for exisiting WWs? I'm working on an update now, so I can adjust some stuff as well.
