Honestly, I prefer a pop up city view where I can scroll from city to city. But, I guess, this is what the gen x likes better
The keyboard shortcut assignments are there in the game options. Been using it all game now.mmm virtually no keyboard commands.
thats super annoying.
Yeah I'm still missing the pop-up city view. This will take some time to get used to.Honestly, I prefer a pop up city view where I can scroll from city to city. But, I guess, this is what the gen x likes better
Is there a way to cycle through cities? The city MM is really painfulYeah I'm still missing the pop-up city view. This will take some time to get used to.
...Yes. That bar where the city name is written? There is one arrow on each side.Is there a way to cycle through cities? The city MM is really painful
Regarding the mouse scroll when at map edge: Turn it OFF! Use the arrow keys to scroll the map if you don't want to use the minimap. It's in the game options, saw it in one of today's gamer streams. May have to reload the game for it to work though, I don't remember.

Apparently, you cannot rename cities at all. But you can rename units.Anyone figure out where the city rename button is?
Cause they hid it really well in this version!
Stupid question, but how to get to the panels that are shown by F2/F3/F4/F7, using the mouse?
I found this post on the Steam forums on how you can turn off the auto cycle. http://steamcommunity.com/app/289070/discussions/0/340412122407085484/?tscn=1476998986Well what a surprise. For me the 2 I's (AI and UI) are the most important aspects of a strategy game yet are consistently among the poorest part of the experience. Having only watched steams (get to play tonight) several features already stood out as annoying.
No ability to easily turn off auto cycle, the fog of war being so different to the map look and feel, the whole city screen set up being behind behind several buttons rather than having the most info well presented on one screen. I'm sure more will occur when I finally play.
The lack of mouse-over tool-tips is frustrating. Having to click on the bottom left-hand corner to see what tile yields are is silly. Wonders are on the map but you can't mouse over them to see their effects. There's no way to tell what tile will pop next via culture. It is difficult to see what your city is outputting in terms of hammers/food/faith, etc. The fog of war is hideous and very difficult to read (can't tell if something is plains, hills or desert). Often times it says a unit can be promoted, but then has no option to promote said unit. No way (that I can see) to track units' XP growth.
Etc., etc.
