pre-SKNES

My religion tops you all. It's Germanic Polytheism with Christ introduced as the supreme god and the god of war. :p

Love thy neighbor, so thee can get close, and stab him in the heart; then thy can take his items, and the wife of him for thyself.

Don't forget burning his village!

The Blond-Christ of Gamez's peoples took Thor's hammer and nailed himself to the cross.

Thanks. :)

Charles Martel was so awesome, that he used Thor's Hammer while HE'S A CHRISTIAN!
Martel is so awesome, that when the Pope tried to exocommunicate him (before tours), God exocommunicated the Pope.
Martel is so powerful, that he smashed Rahman above the Pyrenees all the way to Gibraltar.
Martel is so strong, he doesn't tame horses, horses are just too scared to rebel.
Martel is so smart, he learned Latin even though he wasn't a full-time priest.

My name change was somewhat accidental. I forgot to PM the admin to clarify that I didn't want this name, about 5 minutes after I send the pm which also never specifically said that I wanted it but strongly implied it.

Martel is so murderous, he ripped a new hole in Hell to fit all the heathens he killed. :p. I should stop now.

Could you extend the order due day till the end of Thursday please? I don't think I'll have orders in by the end of today.

I approve these Martel messages :p

I think that Aquitaine is the most Tolerant Christian State, well, only concerning non-Muslims. Decades of watchful behavior on the border can make you forget about that church edict about killing pagans, once of whom is helping you guard said border next to you.

the Republic of Venice isn't necessarily tolerant but it keeps its friends close and mentally stable non-Catholic nations close too ;)

Since every turn is 25 years, I'm not sure how well I can keep up with making new Rulers every one-two turns. Not that they're necessary... but they add class.

Any tips on how to sidestep this problem other than not making new Rulers every one-two years? No, I am not going to be Louis the XIV... infinity. :p

God kings. Big brother. :p

Edit omg

Set up a list of generic monarch names, and assign a number to each in ascending order. Then use a random number generator to pick a king every first or second turn, and keep track of the monarch numbers. Keeps you from having your monarch names skewed to one you particularly like.

Question: When it states that army upkeep is required, is that automatically deducted from your economy, or do you have to subtract it yourself? Basically, do I, as Sicily, have 7 EP to spend this turn or 6?

It's not auto deducted, the reason being that you can vary how much you pay.
