pre-SKNES

@SK - At the end of each update could u please write a list of ongoing wars coz i have no idea who's at...is there even a war going on??

I just noticed that my stats seem to have disappeared off the face of the NES earth! :(

Popping in to just say I'll be working allll the way through till friday. Nonstop. Won't get to participate/send necessary orders until Sunday.

@SK

Do you mind putting the capitals of each country on the map. I really don't know why I want it, but it would be a nice feature.

Easy, you want it so that you can do the standard procedure of rushing the capital and demanding capitulation instead of having to fight every petty lord and noble with a title in their hands and ideas of loyalty in their empty skulls when they hide in their castles and forts and raid your supply lines.

I would, but the problem is that some countries (horse nomads for example) don't have "capitals" per se, and even among those that do, some have the capability to (and will) move around a lot. (especially in Europe) I will consider it though.

On a similar note, I was thinking of adding trade centers to the map (and perhaps elaborating on that a bit in the rules) with this update, as some players have asked me if they could set them up, and some already have them (Sicily and Cordoba off the top of my head) Thoughts?

I think adding trade centres could help in showing where trade's happening and where it's not.

Wow, a wee bit harsh aren't you? Well, let me rephrase that thought. You are looking at the idea in a overtly military view. I, on the other hand, am looking at it with a purely domestic one. I didn't quite mean capital. Rather, I meant the most influential city in a country. If I was to go to the streets of Los Angeles right now, I am sure that most people could tell me where, say, Tokyo, London, and Paris were, because those are international cities whose names are more widespread than , I don't know, some random village in Siberia. That is what my idea was initially, but if you want to view it in your light, then by all means go ahead.
