yui, quick democracy question: do you pick the winner of the elections, or do we?
i know some mods oppose us having control of our own elections, while others let us do what we want, within reason. (ie no green majority in 2008 canada and no conservatives collapsing like in '93, when they went from a majority of 169 seats to the 5th party with 2, no obama winning texas, stuff like that.)

Brief queries: I presume your still updating the Stats (USA has an OTHER line, the UK has none; i.e. NATO, EU etc all these things.)
With regards to the British Navy, you do know that the RN is undergoing a modernisation programme to keep up with the world (changing from its previous cold war stance to a more international one). Currently the following ships are being built: 2 QE class Carriers (more comparable to Nimitz class than anything else) these will replace the current 3 carriers, coming into service in 2014 and 2016.
The Astute class of submarine is replacing the current trafalger/swiftsure Submarines, and are getting rolled out at around 2009, 2010, 2012 (4 more unknown and a 5th subject to costs)
and some type 45 destroyers will be coming into service (6 total, 1st one to come in 2009, then 2010, 2010, 2011, 2012,2012).

The last things just something I would be using. But the UK already shelled out for the rest of that fleet! Can we list it down someplace? (although the fleets getting smaller....AGAIN but more modern and Blue water).
Oh and personally I beleive that UK, netherlands, luxumburg etc are a 7 in education, also Spain is better than a 5, I wouldn't even commit to the italy being a just a 6.
The Central europeans and Balklans I'm not sure enough about, anyway, what are you using as a source on these things?

Well, I was fairly conservative with the education ratings.
And for the most part I was forced to use the CIA World Factbook, and Wiki on these unfortunately, nothing else being available.

Can't believe I missed that. Also India has far too few mechanized divisions.
