Pre-YuiNES 2 - The Modern World

The last time somebody ran a modern game, it died for two reasons. One, because the moderator was biased and lazy and had no business running it. Two, because everybody decided to be do stupid crap, like Germany trying to become a nuclear power, and Pakistan trying to create an "Anti-American" virus.

Stupid crap kills games like this. People have to know that, and have to be in a frame of mind to act in a responsible and plausible fashion. Bragging about your e-penor doesn't give off those kind of vibes, if you dig.

But I'm not the mod, you don't gotta listen to me.
 
I'll agree with that, symphony. What my main focus was(Or what I meant for it to be), when I was presenting my penis, was that I've brought plenty of countries to major powers from practically nothing. I've preserved them while they were major powers. China's a major power in this world, and it's really a question of responsible play vs. irresponsible play. I've got a very good record of responsible nation building.
 
Just want to point out one thing.
Malaysia's leader should be Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Your leader there is the King and Malaysia is a Federal Constitutional Monarchy.

Also expressing interest in the PRC.
Reason: I'm Chinese, I'm awesome, I probably have a half-decent grasp of the Chinese mindset and can understand (if not necessarily agree with) the PRC's viewpoint on many of their current issues.
EDIT: And I've also written the meanest bloody essays on Chinese economic history.

All that nonsence above being said, I take back my interest in the country, and the NES... We're arguing about who's better suited to take a damn country in a NES. Well, you can have it, silver... or Nanner Lee. Both of which are good choices, I'd say. Neither are what I would classify as noobs. Unlike the mod, whom I'd classify as a noob.

But whoever does end up with the country, know this... My penis is bigger than yours. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks :p

Amon, really there are a bunch of uncontested super powers left even if you don't want PRC anymore.
I will make my decision in regards to the PRC player position (banana made it very hard) by early today.
 
As long as you can crank out updates with your massive templates and rules and what are going to be novel orders... I really think 3 updates is pushing it real hard, but I doubt you'd get past that number. If you want me to pilot a country, assign me one as soon as you see this post, so noone can contest it.

one last nitpick -
Currently Canadian peacekeepers are serving in 14 operations in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and the Middle East
Not a single one is in Iraq.
We have ~2,500 men in Kandahar, Afghanistan, but 0 in Iraq (other than the non-military men who are training Iraqi policemen and the like. but we never joined the Coalition of the Willing)
