Wrymouth3
Emperor
Hello,
Thank you for your time and interest in potentially joining in NukaWryNes, which is a NES set in the Three Kingdoms. You have a family, and you are perhaps China's destiny to unite it once again. A few things below:
Who is eligible to play?: Anybody can play, no application is required. You can play, your great grandmother can play, your girlfriend or wife can play, even zombie Hong Xiuquan can rise up from the dead and play in this NES if he decides to. 24 spots are available with more spots opening up if there is enough interest.
What this NES actually is? This is a strategy/simulation NES set during the Three Kingdoms period during the last 20 years of the Han Dynasty. This is an NES that will be very similar to the ROTK series of video games out there for you NESer's who have played those games. This game will have a great amount of historical and fictional characters who appear in the Guanzhong novel. You will run a city or town in your province in the hopes of eventually becoming or displacing the weakened Han emperor, or rather if you hope to create an ideal state, the decision is all yours.
Why do I want to play in this NES? Because I assure you that this NES will be of very high quality and enjoyed by all. I can assure you that this will be run in the way a proper NES will be run (barring any personal tragedies or important events in either mine or Nuka's life).
Basic Rules Within the next few days, I will have more information up and edited in, but your character will be assigned to a city or town within a set province. Certain cities and towns are more powerful than others, and I want to warn all of you that this will be first come first serve, and I do not want any complaints, such as why Lord Iggy got Sichuan or why Popcorn Lord is stuck in some random town in Xiliang. You will have food, gold, manpower, and rare goods to worry about maintaining. Nuka will post in more detail on those things a little later on. You may also employ "Great Men" a la the Great men mechanic in EU3, however this will be a huge expense and you can only employ up to two men at a time, and you must find them. Be smart with how you play
Conclusion I'm sorry if this post is not too detailed, but we are still working some things out with the NES and we are in the final stages of the preliminary phase. Please consult me or Nuka for any questions that you might have, and we will answer them.
Hoping for a great turnout!
