Sorry, I wasn't listening...
Is this an okay nation description? Or should I add to it? I didn't want it to get too long, as I wanted to deny myself the chance to ramble.

Xin Ming Nation Description:
After many centuries of being the sole and powerful ruler of China, the Ming finally collapsed. Manchu armies attacked the northern territories, seemingly invincable as Ming armies tried to stop them. Internaly the Ming was getting torn apart by massive rebellions. After Li Zicheng took Beijing, Wu Sangui (the commander of northern Ming forces) was enraged to find out the rebel had taken his concubine. Defecting to the Qing, he let the Qing go unhindered to the south towards Beijing. From that point the Ming dynasty was doomed.
While the Qing were pushing further and further south, the Shogunate of Japan invaded the east coast of China, taking Shanghai and other important cities. Portugal took the southeastern coasts, seeing the Ming as an easy target. With these invaders hammering the Ming from all sides, all order collapsed. War lords and pretenders fought amongst one another, bringing even more destruction to China.
But for once the Ming would be lucky. Japanese and Qing forces began to fight over Korea, tieing up their forces in a struggle that niether could end decicively. The White Lotus, the society that allowed the first Ming emperor to take the throne back in the 14th century once again took action. Organizing a movement, it managed to drive out the foreigners and warlords by uniting southern China under a new Ming emperor. The Qing were soon driven out of central China, their counter-offensives unsuccessful against Xin Ming.
With a Han-lead dynasty and support from the White Lotus, Xin Ming has many loyal followers within and outside of its borders. Han Chinese continue to rebel under the urgings of the Xin Ming emperor. It is begining to modernize slowly, its large population giving it a massive work force. Nationalism spreads through Xin Ming, amplifying the hatred towards the countries around it. But while the public screams of war and destruction of foreign powers, deep within China its military is getting trained by the Flanders. While this is largely kept a seceret, Xin Ming officials hope to lessen the hatred towards Europeans in hopes of gaining some of their support in industrializing their nation.
