Questions & Answers

Is there anywhere I can find a list of the civs that respawn along with the dates that this happens? Searched but couldn't find anything. Thanks!

There is no set time they respawn in vanilla RFC, it will just happen in an unstable nation after nationalism is discovered.

I'm confused then. It looks like most civs have a respawn chance if that is the case.

I was thinking more of the civs that will declare independence at some point and retake their core area, such as the Aztecs as Mexico, Inca as Peru or China. The reason I am wondering is that I want to avoid over developing any cities in these areas that I will eventually have to give up. The one civ I'm currently wondering about is the Khmer.

There isn't a set date in RFC. It can happen in any turn after at least three civs have discovered Nationalism, and depends on the owner's stability.

I'm not sure if my vanilla RFC isn't up to date but there it says one civ with nationalism is enough.

It's 1 for respwans 3 for congresses. :)

Shaky or below, I think.
Just had a bad experience with Germany,as Russia respawned twice, the first time one turn after I conquered them, and with infantry. My units were healing and I took a lot of time to conquer them again.

I would be very surprised if you couldn't....

have you tried it?

weird... an you sure the other party (ies) hadn't researched it already?

If they hadn't a higher authority (not that I'm one :p) should shed some light on the issue ;)

I think he is right, if tech brokering is disabled, you can't even trade stolen technologies.

Well i honestly don't like very much the disabled tech. brokering, especially on emperor it's kind of problem. So i'm playing custom game with tech. brokering enabled :]

well yeah.. if tech brokering is disabled... it's only logical that you can't trade (stolen) techs..

But if tech trading is enabled you should be able to trade stolen techs... right?

Yeah, it was the Aztecs (my vassal). I directed them to democracy(gave them the necessary techs) but I couldnt trade it from them because all my military techs(and others) were stolen.

Any tips on playing the Mali? I can't quite get that first historical objective (Have the most money).
F

All of Mali's objectives are to have the most money. :)

You need to generate at least one Great Merchant and send them all the way to Amsterdam and use for a Trade Mission. Getting France to fight its neighbours will help your cause too, because France will almost certainly be your competitor for most money.

BTW, nice avatar.
