Questions you thought were to stupid/to embarrassed to ask

I certainly don't disagree with you on that but that's the age range of models that term is applied to.

Or so I've been told.

Ah, I see.

But would you really qualify this as a "mother"? (I think you might know who she is ;))

Okay another one... This is really stupid so please bare with me, in the UK they drive on the left hand side right? Does that mean cars in the UK have the drivers seats on the right hand side of the car?

Also do other copuntries do it like the US (right-hand)or UK (left-hand)???

Actually, you have it backwards. The US is a left hand drive country, and the UK a right hand drive. Never mind, I'm thinking drive on the left hand side of the car....it's too late for me...

But if it's a right hand drive country, the driver's seat will be on the right hand side. This wiki article might be of interest to you.

Edit: CROSSPOSTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!

In the UK they drive on the LEFT and the seat is on the RIGHT. In most countries it is like in US, here's a map:

pfft, we're wrong about the side of the road we drive on, the US is wrong about capital punishment and the metric system :p

Actually I wouldn't have recognized her if her name wasn't in the picture's filename (not really my type, musically).

Well, not exactly mine either (I play classical guitar) but in Europe she used to have a lot of success, so I just thought you might know her. :)

Wii is an incredibly fun Nintendo game system that uses motion sensing. In the WiiMote (shaped like a remote control) and Nunchuk (randomly named, does not bring real ones to mind) there are sensors that track the angle you are holding it at and speed. REALLY annoying to kick long field goals in madden, as a 10°angle could make you miss.

can homosexuals be attracted to themselves since they are attracted to the same sex? Like if they looked in the mirror could they be attracted to themself? Encredibly stupid question and possibly in bad taste but I've ALWAYS been curious about this. Any answers?

Too true, too true. I'd rather be wrong about the side of the road. But, since the automobile was invented in the US, it's really not possible to argue that driving on the left is correct, whereas at least there are (albeit weak) arguments for the death penalty and the imperial system.

:dubious: What arguments are there for the imperial system? I prefer it, but that's just because I was raised on it, and I often wish that I could intuitively think in the metric system...

It'd be expensive to switch.

It's boor-zhwah-zee, definitely!

No, that's "bourgeoisie", the noun (and you're pronouncing the r, which I think was intentional). "Bourgeois", the adjective, is approximately "booj-WAH" (but the j sounds slightly like a z; that's the best I can express it).

No, no, Chand, you're thinking of "bourgeoisie".

"Bourgeois" is pronounced "boor-zhwah".

What's a "wet dream"? I've heard the term alot, but have no freakin idea what it means:p

Are scorpion stings lethal?
Is being "high" illegal? Or is it just the drugs that are illegal?
If a kid/teenager takes naked pics of themselves can they be arrested for possesion of child porno?

I think a lot of the problem with it is that people want to convert things in the metric system to the imperial system, to be slightly off topic.

I mean, you have an "inch", right? That's how you've been raised. So you measure things in these arbitrary inches.

Now, what if, in a brave new world, everybody used centimeters and stuff? Just measure things in centimeters, no matter how long one of those things are! Don't screw around with the 1 inch = 2.55 cm or whatever that formula is.

Of course, we'll never switch over, 'cause we're lazy. Gogo America.

To answer the question: ...laziness? I don't know. There's no good reason not to use the metric system.

Oh, no, wait. The Frenchies invented it in the French Revolution. That's a good reason not to use it. :P
