What's a "wet dream"? I've heard the term alot, but have no freakin idea what it means:p

At 16 you have no idea what this is? Doh. Its the result of having an extraordinarily vivid dream about sex. Figure it out.

Are scorpion stings lethal?

Any sting can be lethal, but only a few varieties of scorpion are deadly.

Is being "high" illegal? Or is it just the drugs that are illegal?

Being 'high' out in public can be illegal.

If a kid/teenager takes naked pics of themselves can they be arrested for possesion of child porno?

Errrr. Well, most of the people arrested for this are not arrested simply for just possession, but also for distribution as well. So probably not, but its definitely not a good idea.

Well, actually I have a guess...

Lol, don't worry I wasn't planning on testing this one... Just a bizzarre question... That keeps eating away at my brain...

In favour of imperial system: not having to reeducate millions of dumb@$$es what metric is (a hint - Kilo, Hecto, Deca, _, deci, centi, milli. to go up divide by 10. to go down, multiply by ten. add metre, gram, or litre to the word to determine if it is weight, distance, or volume of a liquid.)

and I know someone under housearrest for distribution (it was when he got his GF pregnant, at the same time he made and sold a video. he was 15 at the time.)

as well, being high isnt the crime. consumption isnt either. POSSESSION AND SELLING/IMPORTING are the crimes.

bore-shzwah

I don't know how to represent that last syllable phonetically. It's a french sound that you'd recognize if you heard it.

The r is not really pronounced, either. Sort of, but not really; the French r doesn't sound like the English r.

for those french speakers, shzwah would be like the oie in la joie

A wet dream happens when you ejaculate during your sleep. The person probably had a vivid sexual dream to go along with it.

The wiki entry is pretty good.

Hold down 'Alt' and on your keypad press 130. é.

Thanks. Now I can finally write about a resumé without confusing myself

(I'm forced to use the 'numberpad' option on my laptop, so I have to hold the function key, too.)

Too true, too true. I'd rather be wrong about the side of the road. But, since the automobile was invented in the US, it's really not possible to argue that driving on the left is correct, whereas at least there are (albeit weak) arguments for the death penalty and the imperial system.

What, you're not going to point out that ancient Roman carts stayed on the left side of the 'road'?

I mean, if we can get our railroad gage from ancient cart axles, we can get our traffic pattern from ancient cart drivers.

on a mac its alt-e for the ´, and alt-e-e for the é. alt-` for the è, and alt-u for ï. alt-I for î. I like it way better than alt-random numbers

I agree with the Americans over the British. WTH? Weird...

Well when I was a kid I thought asking how long a minute and how long an hour was was pretty stupid. So instead of asking, I got it mixed up and thought a minute was an hour and an hour was a minute.

The r is not pronounced in French or in English?

The French "r" is one of the hardest sounds to make! I don't know if it's true for other people, but as a native English speaker, it's pretty weird. Some fancy stuff about your tongue almost completely blocking the passage of air from your throat, and then almost a guttural sound, or something! I don't know!

I'll find a link:

The letter R: http://french.about.com/library/pronunciation/bl-pronunciation-r.htm
How to pronounce it: http://french.about.com/cs/pronunciation/ht/r.htm

Yeah, my question was badly asked. What I wanted to know was if Cuivenen was saying that the r in bourgeois was not pronounced in English, or if she was saying it was not pronounced in French (which is not true).

I'm really good at saying "R" the French way. :D

What's the big deal about figuring out Pi to the umpteenth gazillion decimal place? Can't we just call it 3.1416 and call it good?

Or all calculators could just have a π button, and we all forget about 3.14159#############################... (#x1,000,000,000)
