Awesome!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Go to My Documents then My Games then Sid Meier's Civilization 4 and open the ini file. Where it says Ingame Alias (or something) followed by something delete the something. This is a minor annoyance, but is there a way to make it so that your in-game name automatically corresponds to the name of the leader you chose to play as, like it was in Civ 3?
Currently my name stays as the name I set no matter which Civ leader I chose. I have to edit it every time I start a new game to make it correspond with the leader I'm choosing to play as (I like it that way because it is more realistic and immersive). It's a minor inconvenience, I know, but I just wondered if there was a way to get around this.
I just found this site, and let me say, it's awesome! I got a ton of questions that were bugging me answered in the article section. Unfortunately, I've got one that I couldn't find an answer to.
When I play (Warlords, no mods), no matter the speed, it seems like everything goes way too slow. By the time I get to "100 turns left", I usually don't even have infantry. There's definitely not enough time to have a space race or even get into post WWII units. Am I doing something wrong? I always keep my research slider at or above 70%, and research seems to go at a fast enough pace.
Please and thank you![]()
Recycling centers remove the unhealthiness from buildings, and if you're building massive cities that require alot of health, you're going to want to switch to the environmentalism civ, although only as a last resort.Hi all, I'm playing the tutorial at the moment and got a couple of questions about unhealthiness of your city.
I know I can fix the jungle issue with removing the jungle around the city, but what about the other things?
Can anything be done about buildings/flooding planes giving negative heathiness?? (Besides grocery/hospital, which doesn't remove the negative just adds positive)
And as for population, should I stop the growth of my city to prevent extra unhealthiness if the negative is getting to much?
