Think lateraly. It'll come ;)
Still don't get it. :p

Oh well. No female wants a guy with a fried brain like mine anyway. :p

Nope. Don't have a girlfriend, never had one, want one like hell, but failed until now. Feeling miserable about it, but everyone tells me there's more important things in my life right now.

Huh?

Lesbians. I loathe them. They take perfectly good straight girls and brainwash them into male-hating lesbians. And on every other girl for being too damn shallow, selfish, etc.!

Lesbians are awesome and you know it!

Don't believe them, there is nothing even close to that. Without girlfriends, time is just an annoying thing you really don't want to have too much off.

Its nice being single though. I can do what I like without having to think "Oh my boyfriend might want to see me then" or "Oh, my boyfriend might not like it if i did that".

Well, that's your attitude.
First of all, in the past I never I thought about what my girlfriend would think if I did this or that. I know what's acceptable and what's not to do when in a relationship, and if she'd make a big deal out of me going out and drinking 8 beers (the average) ... well, it's not my problem actually. Live and let live, also in a relationship. Main rules : don't fool around, share private stuff and brag with your friends.

Secondly, being single is nice for a while, but after a couple of years life becomes a drag. Missing out on all the emotional stuff, the excitement, the sex (hey, I'm honest), the extra motivation...
Makes you wish you'd know when the next girlfriend would arrive and put yourself in some sort of cryogenic sleep until that day, because the time 'til then is time lost.

Meh, I don't care what my girlfriend is doing unless if it is damaging to her in some way (tanning), or if she's cheating on me. I know other people have lives other than dating.

You won't let your girlfriend get a tan ?

I would let her, but I won't like it. It's bad for your health, as it causes skin cancer.

Only in rare and in extreme cases (like constant sunscreen or tanning with aluminium foil below your face for double UV rays)
I wouldn't worry about it ... a bit of tan won't hurt, there are few construction workers who get skin cancer, even though they work 8 hours a day in the sun, sweating.

A tan is actually healthy, but like with everything, just don't exaggerate like the average Côte d'Azur granny on the beach.

Here are some thoughts on marriage and relationships:

the Prophet said:
…But let there be spaces in your togetherness,
And let the winds of heaven dance between you.

Love one another but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Fill each other’s cup but drink not from one cup.
Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf.
Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone,
Even as the strings of the lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.

Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping.
For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.
And stand together yet not to near together:
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.
Even if you ignore the religious/spiritual overtones, it is a very nice framework for thinking about how to be happy in a relationship.

I don't mean a little bit of tan, those are unavoidable, just things like tanning beds I don't like.

yuh. 2 years.
