Vampires.
I like some franchises. True Blood blood oscillates between very entertaining and genuinely good, and a guilty pleasure with remarkably bad writing.
What I really hate the recent oversaturation of media with vampires.
I was recently in a bookstore where I saw one shelf with 'Sci-Fi/Fantasy' -I also hate it when people treat SF and Fantasy as one genre- next to two shelves with 'Vampires'.

I'm gonna bash the dream (more like a nightmare) I had last night. I dreamed that two characters from my soap opera repainted my home - in every horrible shade of pink that exists! And then they piled other furniture in front of my bookshelves so I couldn't get at my books!
