But I like my title.

Rant: nobody is ranting about my creative numbering system![]()
But I like my title.
Welcome to the digital age! Next time bring a book to read.I had to go to the post office to deal with the official yearly sending of bureaucratic filings.
The usual experience of having to spend a lot of time doing nothing while other people also do nothing and employees apparently do nothing has now been upgraded.
In the ‘old days’ one just tore off a little paper with a number off a little ticket dispenser device that stood on a wannabe microphone stand, sat down on a back-destroying chair and waited for one's number to be called, trying to stay awake in a room designed to be more soporipherous than double History of Magic with Professor Binns. Now it has been compounded with first having to deal with a sort of ATM-wannabe device that prints out little tickets with numbers and and letters on them and the old dreadful waiting is worsened by having to keep track of what category of sender one has been assigned. AA12 can be followed by AB 13 and then CC 54 and so on.
*sigh*

I've had too many meetings lately ... sometimes I sort of miss the days when I only worked a couple hours a day, and only had to join maybe two meetings a week (and where I was a silent participant rather than a presenter)
Mouse over your small avarar next to the avatar of the thread starter. You will see you post count for that thread. Compare it to the total post count of the thread.I am afraid to check my message totals.
I don't know how to do it anyways.![]()
MaryKB said:You even above mention that your friends would be disgusted with what you post here, but in your mind it's okay because of your anonymity. Wow. So it seems you know you shouldn't be posting those things, but do so because you feel reasonably secure you can get away with it.
choxorn said:Then why say it anywhere, exactly, if you know it would make the person you're talking about uncomfortable?
choxorn said:Again, my point isn't that it's weird that you write about this, it's that you write about it a lot and rarely write about anything else, like it's seemingly the only thing you ever have on your mind.
Your flex doesn't even parse. Mary has made sexual posts. I have. Lexicus has. Being sexual, having hopes of sexual satisfaction, isn't what's bad. You were clever in reducing the complaint to "bad thoughts," but it doesn't really work. It's a noticing of a pattern of behaviour. J hasn't made one post and now he's being "cancelled" (reeeeeeee). There's been multiple posts over a lengthy period of time that all express the same sentiment.
Did you misspell count?Great, now I'm procrastinating by checking all my post ****s!

Perhaps I've been here too long; what is NOTW? Related to total War?on topic: why people are ranting here instead of lynching themselves in NOTW forum?![]()
