 I was great at doing that in like seventh grade. I think I missed about a week and a half each quarter :D

I stopped in eighth grade when they actually started counting sick days and holding them against us.

DON'T RUB IT IN.

Is no one else worried that Firefox and Wikipedia are the judges of spelling?

Who mentioned you specifically? Got a high opinion of yourself, eh?

:p

I wasn't mentioned specifically, but I happened to be the first one to reply to the comment directed at all of us that corrected him.

Argh! Do almond shells have a fault-line? Is it possible to shell these things with a nutcracker without just getting bits of shell all randomly?

Because if it's useful to even one person, we all have to know about it.

Which is why I rant that homework is too much and people are idiots.

Oh, and guess what? The stupidest thing EVER to happen so far in my ELA year just happened. We had just finished To Kill A Mockingbird, which was a pretty good book if we didn't have to annotate it, but we had a graded study guide with questions, etc. Not too bad. The last two questions went something along the lines of "Do you feel changed after reading this book?" and "Did this book change your views on anything?" Well, redundancy aside, I simply answered no for both questions, writing honestly and truthfully. Today we got our study guide questions back so we could study, I flipped through to see what I missed. Turns out, I missed both of the mentioned questions.

It was a freaking OPINION QUESTION that asked you whether you felt changed after reading the book TWICE, I answered with my own opinion, and guess what? My opinion's wrong. Gee, kinda defeats the purpose of the "opinion" part of the question, eh?

I have tons-o-work due for enviro tomorrow and it's really cold in my room but I don't want to turn on the radiator because damn Burns and his damn environmental class makes me not want to use the energy now.
