I think fear of failure is constant for everyone until a Failure Point is reached when people lose the fear because they feel even failing can't make things worse than they are.

In short: only desperate people don't constantly fear failure. And overconfident people, but that's because they believe they cannot fail.

Yeah, by at least 33 degrees already! Below zero IS bloody cold, that's what is so great about the Fahrenheit scale. :D Now, below 32 (freezing) isn't bad at all. In fact, if it is sunny and not windy, it's short sleeve weather.

Your crazy man. Anything below 15C is cold.

I thought Australian people were tough.

20C is cold. anything below 70F is cold. I'm not having it.

I like the cold. And anything above 80F is hot. 0C/32F is a little cold, but easily defeated by warm clothing.

anything about 95F and high humidity is hot. anything below that is just warm.

32F is pretty damn cold.

Humidity is Satan's slobber.

80F is just about normal, really :p Anything below 70F is cold, anything above 105F is really when it starts getting uncomfortably hot.

When I become Grand Dictator of America, I shall make you Potentate of Greater Virginia and Carolina.

That's a pretty sweet gig. Can I live in California while I do it? :D

32F is pretty damn cold.

After last winter I broke out t-shirts and shorts when it got above 15F.

Until you have multiple weeks of sub -10F, then you can't complain about the cold.

Well, tobacco must flow. Keep that going, and keep that nutter madviking under wraps and you can live wherever the hell you want. It's good to be the Potentate.

Legit rant: I think one of my e-cig batteries died. I'm down to two now, so probably need to order a couple more. :(

After a couple of weeks of -30 to -40C, I found -12C to be shirt-sleeve weather (long sleeves, but it still didn't seem cold enough to need a coat). Mind you, I was only going as far as the dumpster. I wouldn't run around town in shirt-sleeves in that temperature.

WIMPS! :p

Anything above room temperature is too hot.

Those 'Mericans are weaklings, regarding temperature.

Being a Vietnamian, I am obviously not suited to cold weather.

Though I still have fond memories of walking to the school bus stop at six in the morning before dawn with ~10-20 F weather (that's around -10 C for you non-'MVRICAE folk).

Sometimes, I have to admit.

I like the cold. It gives me a special feeling.
