Not an excuse. I've been able to grow a beard since 7th grade. Though I admit in 7th grade it probably would have taken most of the school year as I only needed to shave once a week at that point. By 9th grade? No problemo, Grizzly Adams.

What, like jeans? Are you out of your mind? I am intending once I finally live on my own (one day in the diistaaant future!) to burn all my jeans in a sacrificial pyre so that my grades don't fall below C in uni.

Alternatively, I'll sell them so that I can feed myself and the horde of cats I'll be supporting.
