Gugh thanks to me leaving school unceremoniously a while back at an inconvenient time due to serious health issues I'm on academic probation since I've technically "failed" my classes. Now I'll have to see if I can appeal and all that, I'm hoping the fact that I could've died of a huge abscess-infection would be enough of a case, but even more importantly I think I'm probably freaking out over this more than I should be because even if I fail to appeal this I'm pretty sure I'm still capable enough it won't really affect me in the long run.

As for me, I loved Fury but I hate the Academy. What for? The Imitation Game, one of the unworthy nominees of this year, even if not bad itself. It just feels like lipservice to the gay community. I could hear 'aww poor oppressed gays, have a movie' over the captions at the end. It isnt a bad movie but it got undeserved rewards and attention and, worst of all it feels like it got them for all the wrong reasons. Acting was still great, however.

I watched 8+ hours of DVDs (X men marathon, watched the full Wolverine and the X men animation), except I also missed a dose or two of my meds.

My migraines are back and worse than the ones from taking alcohol with my meds QQ, due to watching way too much in one sitting.

Though I took a pill after the marathon and they seem to be all gone now. I need to stop forgetting to take them.

people leaving out area codes on phone numbers, who does that? Stone age hicks who never travel in the age of cell phones? Or call anybody ever?

If it's a local number. My take is that they generally assume that people already know the area code, if they are living there.

But still, given how people generally try to keep cell phone numbers as they move, people have phone numbers from all over the place.

Why would you make a presentation in HTML? What does that even mean, make a webpage that uses HTML? PowerPoint is software specifically designed for that purpose. HTML is something you use to format a webpage.

Flashier is better. In presentations, how you do it is as important as what you are saying. Prezi feels more organic, whereas PowerPoint or Impress are just the classic slide projections transferred to a digital medium.
