I'm getting more and more tossed off or something by graphs with axises like the different way than I'd want.

Like, if you look at density varied by altitude, why wouldn't you put altitude on the x-axis?

Also
It went less terribly than I thought but still terrible

so maybe barely not flunk
Yea, very barely not. I got the lowest score that still gave E

Turns out someone else flunked though :/

About the only good thing in the trailer for Civ VI was Sean Bean's voice. The rest is really bad imo :/ The theme is very forgettable.
Just popped in to say the base of that launch vehicle was modeled on a Falcon 9 and the capsule is based on Dragon 2.
Also, that's not how you get to space. You would not burn your capsule's engines with your capsule pointed straight up unless a) you want to die or b) it's an abort situation and you don't want to die. Either way, you will not go to space.

Umm......but why the hell don't they actually show gameplay in the trailer???

It's a Civ trailer - when have they ever done that?

Yeah, that too. I also noticed it ofcourse! ;) :D (ok, obviously not)

It's easy to miss but Sean Bean dies at the end of the trailer. True story.

Your graphs are tossing you off? I never get as much as a hug from the graphs I encounter..

Anyway, you're a smart guy, Lohr. Rejoice. You could have been an idiot instead.

I dunno man

I mean look at this

It's clear that the density can be described as a function of altitude, but not the other way around

why would you put the variable on the y-axis?

Well, assigning altitude to a vertical axis isn't necessarily that illogical is it?

Mine at least give me a wave. :D

But what's up with that temporary rise in density at night after 100km up?
Different molecules have different densities at different altitudes, and additionally they ionise at different rates, and so the aggregate result of all ion density turns out to look like that

I've been taking care of myself far more effectively than I have all year. And yet I'm having the worst flares I've had all year. I don't like this very much.

So don't do drugs then?

Or are they antidepressants?

When a beheaded equestrian statue of Franco, flagship of a critical exhibition about the dictatorship, is bombarded with eggs, defiled with rainbow paintings and Catalan flags, and is thrown to the ground and thence taken away, the Francisco Franco Foundation threatens to sue the Barcelona Town Hall both for exhibiting the beheaded statue and allowing it to be further defaced.

How? How? How can such a 'foundation' exist, and how can it be tolerated? Why is the dictator still buried in his glorious mausoleum built with forced labour while so many have rotten away in unmarked communal graves in fields and roads that no longer lead anywhere?

This country refuses to face a shameful past that it only managed to get over by pretending to forget about it.
