Random Rants : Pissed tae th' gills

Semi-rant: That oh-so-frustrating feeling when a pretty nurse is bending over mere inches away and you really, really, really want to look down, yet you must look away, because you're nice and you're mindful of manners, and respectful.

Oh I look every time, Mr Pire. Manners or not, I just couldn't resist.

And I thought you didn't hold any truck with prudes.

Of course, trucks and lorries can hold themselves.

Ahem.

And I thought you didn't have any time for prudes.
Eh, whatever. Prudishness and erotophobia and such is a deeply-rooted part of life. Not something I will ever be able to change.

Not to mention, I see no point in wasting my energy stubbornly fighting a losing war.

Spoiler :
Really, I'm a fool no matter how I respond to Borachio, so I might as well say it how I see it.

The what now, you accursed Stalinist hegemonist?

Have you found out what Marroc is yet?

Well, now the next step is to picture inch-long blocks of the delicacy mixed into chocolate ice-cream.

Borachio and I were engaged in shallying shillies.

EDIT: Rant on my own: Thought today that I finally sorted out my damn crowded working schedule for the next weeks, and then somebody comes into the office, pulls something from the bottom of the work stack and says "urgent!". (not literally, but more or less).
Aaaaaaaaaaah :run:.

I really feel damn tired, don't want to go to work, and considered taking a half day off for sleeping, but then I calculated the work time left, and it turned out that I'll not get all my crap sorted out for this week if I do that.
I hate it .

Sunday evening, nearly 7 PM, and I'll probably go to work for 1 or 2 hours (again).
So that I can check the results tomorrow morning between 7 and 8, start some new stuff, and go to the course, which will eat half of my week.
Crap, shouldn't have said that we'll get that sorted out before christmas.
:wallbash:

In class today, I was subjected to three unpleasant videos. One was on the business and movement of denying climate change, which is just depressing.

The other two were of the "History" Channel's America: The Story of Us.

I did not know that TV shows could actually cause cancer.

After having witnessed Duck Dynasty, My Little Pony, the Disney Channel… I am sure that TV can be harmful.

Hey! WTH is your beef with My Little Pony? Beats the heck out of Transformers... something wrong with positive messages for our youth?

Besides, one of them is named Apple Jack!
