Random Rants : Someone is wrong on the Internet

My current GP just gives me all the Gaviscon I need. First I was getting 60 pills a month. Then I said I only needed 2-4 a week. Only because I cant be bothered taking two a day, but if I did I might not have so much pain.

I hate Gaviscon, but then I also get acid regularly shooting up into my nostrils without it. Food just wont ever stay down, or digest without extreme difficulty. And all the burning liquid poop ... SO MUCH BURNING LIQUID POOP!

But I got +6 points on my benefits assessment because a few times a year uncontrollable bowel empties itself into my pants :(

Have you had a parasite test done? I ask this because I had a proper test done and it found that i had two parasite inside me, one they knew about called d. fragilis and the other one is unknown since they could find a parasite DNA but not one that is known right now, which is frustrating, since it means that the doctor does think it is a problem. I said do a proper test because I had done previous inferior tests before and they always came up clean and thus the doctor believed them to be correct, when they didn't realise that you can get false negatives.

The only testing I've had is blood tests.

NHS is super slow. I have an appointment second week of June with my GP for a mole removal and will ask about getting more testing done for my belly issues.

For elective surgery, yes, I agree. For emergency surgery, I've had very few issues with them.

For major stuff you can just go to A&E. For minor and chronic stuff, you have to wait ages.

Oh damn...I got called for a testing for a job I thought they weren't gonna call and I realized I applied for a system I haven't worked with much. I got about two days to read and absorb a 1000 pages. It's like university all over again

Hmmm, well I recently scrubbed my ever thickening mole with a pumice stone, and after a bath all the excess thickness just peeled away.

GP said it was benign, it was getting super thick and growing outwards.

My time here in Germany is running out. I feel like I haven't taken half as many opportunities as I should have, and I really don't want to go. I should have signed up for two semesters.

Eh? You haven't been there five minutes, Mr Phrossack. I thought a semester was supposed to be six months.

I've been here for two and a half months. And our semester is five months.

So you have half your time left and you are in "my time is running out" mode. Live for today Mr Phrossack...July will get here just the same without being worried about.

That's the problem. I've been living for today, not worrying about the future, figuring I have time and can do stuff later, and already I'm almost out of time, having wasted a lot of time already. I need to hurry up and do the things I want to do that I won't be able to do when I leave. I've missed enough opportunities as it is.

Oh.

I tell you, time flies past amazingly quickly for me. It genuinely seems like only last week you were telling us how you were getting ready to leave for Germany.

It does for me as well. Which is only a good thing when you're waiting for a bad thing to end or a good thing to begin. That's not the case here.

"Live for today" is not synonymous with "put things off 'cause there's plenty of time." Quite the opposite in fact. And generally speaking a mindset of "I'm almost out of time" is not conducive to getting anything done. Usually it serves as an excuse.

First period of time: "I'll do that later."
Second period of time: "I don't have enough time for that now."
Result, nothing gets done. Standard human approach to life.

This is exactly my problem

and that's my rant for this time
