You're still at school? I thought you owned a radio station. :p

God Damn! People stretch stuff so much! I interned this summer at a radio station and am trying to get a show. That's it. I still have to go to school like every other 17-year-old. :crazyeye:

17!? At that age I'd be a free agent! Away from school for over a year! You Americans do everything so wrong. :p

Did I say intern? I meant I was Wolfman Jack. ;)

BTW Ansar is on some kind of crazy school cirriculum, if I remember right.

ZOMG U GUYZ R LUCKY MY SCHOOL DUZNT EVEN HAVE THE DIGNITY OF BEING HELL

Seriously, enough of this.

EDIT: And why is my postcount suddenly 40 smaller?

RANT: Why is it that any time someone mentions what time they have to get up, it turns into a contest of who has to get up the earliest and who has it the roughest? It's very sophomoric. :shake: ;)
From a real sophomore, I get up every morning at 4:45 :)

And that's how it's going to be from now until I graduate, 45 weeks a year 6 days a week, two-a-days three times a week. And then I'll probably join a college cross country team and do it for four more years. Pure joy.

Wow, I started to reply to this as a joke but it turned into a real rant

Edit: and my post count got magically smaller! I distinctly remember having 720 this morning.

Hey now that everybody mentions it, I was definitley over 2500 earlier. :hmm: To Site Feedback!

Wow, postcount, yeah. How long have I been stuck in the 2800s? Man. :(

Real rant: I start university in slightly under a month. Problem is, the course I'm taking is in a subject I know nothing about. So I've got about a month to learn everything I can cram into my brain. TEH JOYS OF SUMMER

Also, the old fear of death has morphed into fear of nuclear obliteration.

EDIT: Also, the pan I bought has a dent in it.

Where am /i?>

I might scream if I see another Palin thread. :wallbash:

seconded from left field.

I honestly am incredibly disgusted at someone right now for their views on a certain issue that is incredibly close to me. thats all i will say.

Dude, it's AL DA GREAT. Everybody knows his story. Don't go out of your way to feel bad about it.

actually, i wasn't referring to this forum, or even the internet, but RL.

RL rant is sort of similar but quite different. they happen to be the same person who dressed up in a terrorist uniform (hint: its all green and the name makes me a little hungry) for fun, repeatedly.

that is a separate rant:

why the () do people believe that ()? how? what goes through one's mind to cause them to be so ()? how can you deny something that there is PROOF of. You visit the camps, they still HAVE ZYKLON B! (oh wait, zyklon B was invented by... a jew! therefore the holocaust never happened and 15 of my family members just went on vacation for the rest of their lives)

Ah! Insane early rising builds character!

:D

:)

EDIT: I read about an Abbasid Caliph whose daily schedule was as follows: he would rise before dawn (around 4AM) and do paperwork and such, eventually making his way to the court, where he would go about his things there, legal stuff and whatever, then in mid-afternoon, it was traditional to siesta during the hottest part of the day, and then, after the nap, the rest of the evening was to be spent "having fun" and relaxing, and he finally went to bed around 10, to rise against at 4. Someday I would love to try this schedule, it seems to have the best of everything: you rise early, so you feel like you're getting up and at 'em, the nap in the afternoon helps compensate for the lack of a long night's sleep (doctors say catnapping during the day is more healthy than the long haul then long sleep), and the siesta naturally divides the day between work in the morning, and play in the evening. Because of the nap, you can stay up later that the 7PM you'd probably want to go to bed at after having been up since 4, but you get to bed at 10, and the 6 hours between 10 and 4 is a decent enough night's sleep, especially combined with the 2-3 hour afternoon siesta.

The trick is finding a lifestyle in which such a schedule would be possible. Perhaps if I worked for myself? A writer, maybe...
