Random Rants VII: Why do they ALWAYS do that?!

Everyone here should know that it's a bad idea to eat enormous amounts of fritos before playing trombone.

Anyone good at mathematics? If P is inversely proportion to R, P = 5 and R = 12. What would P be if R = 4? I'm not asking for an answer, just at least get me started and tell me what to write please. :)

Nah I've posted way more complicated questions there before.

Anyways, tomorrow is field day at school, and I know it's going to be a pain in the you-know-what because it's going to mean my AP Enviro class is canceled and we have the first test on Friday!

Is it worth its own thread? For God's sake this gets so confusing at times!

No, it isn't. Remember that we have a thread to answer questions that are not worth their own thread.

Heh, that's totally normal. And by "normal" I mean weird. At least my singles ward is full of people older than me.

Yeah, mine is too. All the girls my age have apparently gotten married :)

I'm not complaining that there aren't "enough for me" or something...its just so freakin bizzare.

I guess it's "feast or famine" and if you aren't married by the time you are 22 and graduate, you are in it for the long haul (by our standards; there is nothing really odd about being 30 and single).

I sometimes think that doing 12+ GCSEs will be an extremely difficult task. I am not too talented in subjects such as maths, English or science (the 'main,' and 'most important' subjects,) but I do excel at the likes of history and geography. However, it seems that with a bit of hard work and revision come exam time, you should recieve some good grades? It's just an awful lot of stuff to learn all at once, for so many lessons... :(

And don't you dare say this is a question not worth it's own thread question. It's a rant.

Meh my supreme immune system faltered for a while and I've got the sniffles. But I'm already popping myself with food & vitamins and drugs, so hopefully I will get better for my best mate's birthday on Saturday.

From the most recent comment I posted in the Random Raves thread:

Sometimes I wish I could use words somewhat stronger than 'heck'. It's the wrong thing to wish, of course, but there sho' are some beautiful words down at the blue end of the spectrum.
