Random Rants VII: Why do they ALWAYS do that?!

get used to it. Things (especially expensive things) have a tendency to go haywire when i'm around.

it can all be summed up in this example: I was driving my bike at night back to home, and i was passing street-lights which started to flicker and then shut off when i was enar and got back on when i was gone. :ack:
 
Urgh. So of course I canceled the appointment to get my three remaining wisdom teeth removed, because I was wigging out about anesthesia. This was about a month ago.

Now my upper-right one is starting to hurt today.

I'm going to have to see if I can get them to do it without knocking me out, because I know that no matter what I plan, I'm just not going to go if I know it's going to involve general anesthesia. So if I want to actually do it, I need to get them to do just local anesthesia. I don't want to do it but I know I need to. :(

I gotta convince myself that the numnums painkillers they'll give me will be worth the stress, but I'm just not buying it.

This sucks.
 
Since I accidently hit my middle knuckle off the wall two days ago, there have been many trials and tribulations involving it. Yesterday, it was inflamed and hurting like hell when trying to write, or even move my finger. Then, for the entirety of today it was perfectly fine. Until now that is, when I was just receiving sharp pains in it for no reason. It isn't hurting at all now though. I wonder what awaits...

On a similar, err, note, I think I might have sprained my wrist :( I'm not exactly sure what a sprained wrist feels like, but it hurts when I twist it in certain directions, or grip things a certain way. It's only my left wrist, so it's not so bad, but it means I can't guitar for a while =/

Nothing has happened to my hands to impede my musicking, for now at least...
 
I keep going through really long phases of not being able to listen to music I like. I'm sort of going through one now, but I went through a huge one a month or two ago.

There are only a couple of bands which I can listen to without forcing myself to listen to something... Although this time round I can listen to most ska and most of my favourite punk bands - last time I couldn't even bring myself to do that!

Does anyone know of a good way to get myself out of these situations with music? Because it's damn annoying ;)

I get that too! I tend to fish out an old album that I haven't listened to in a while - one that I didn't really like that much first time round. Then I fish out an equally old album that I do like. I always find that I end up liking both albums a lot better after several years of forgetting about them.
 
I have a girlfriend - I want her in my bed. The only thing is we've been going out for less then a week so it might be a bit soon :lol:. Luckily or possibly unluckily she was one of my best friends before we started going out. Unfortuantely I don't know if she'd be into it, even if it wasn't too soon because at our age some people are but some aren't. The most annoying thing is that we go to different colleges and I get home at about 4:30 every day. Too late to meet up. Also, I have a big familly and so am never home alone, if you know what I mean. Also, her parents are way over-protective, and mine would go mad if they even knew I was writing this post. I'm so frustrated. [pissed]

I'm a very similar situation... I don't have the part with less than a week, it's 4 weeks and a half for me...

But add the part that I was too sick to leave home for almost 2 weeks. :mad: And now I have to catch up with work and on top of that I can't meet her at my highschool because I have to do regular visits to the hospital in the time when I should be at school, which means I have almost no way of meeting her. That makes it 3 weeks of not seeing, which leaves me with a bit over one week of "going out" with her. She could even have another boyfriend by now, not that I would really go mad if it happened (because it's already happened plenty of times and it's no big deal).

(my parents would approve of me having sex though, that I'm sure of, because my father even happened to find me in the process and realize what was happening and leave quietly without caring)

Anyway, it's similar because it is outside factors that keep it from finally happening once to "seal" the relationship. ;)

Hahaha you're lucky! I guess my dad may be ok with it, afterall I AM at the legal age. My mum would ground me til I'm 40.

I'm the legal age since 15, yeah living in the Balkans has its advantages. ;)

My parents are really okay with this, especially considering my mother's... well... history in that. My father even bought me condoms, twice, to make sure he's not going to be a grandfather too soon. :p

[17:56:55] <Cheezy> Also, as a minor rant, I don't like it when they 1) name the .ini file differently than the folder 2) put a folder inside another folder with the identical name for which there is no purpose to the second folder bearing the same name 3) use an underscore when naming either the .ini file or the folder.
