How do other people do it, getting attention and being social so easily, I don't get it.

Sure that you're asking at the right place ^^?

Having a cheerful disposition. And a willingness to listen to other people. Being genuinely interested in other people. Asking questions balanced with self-disclosure. Open body language. Non-judgementalism.

These are the sorts of things that tend to help.

I'd consider these things normal...or not ?

We should host CFC-Con and we can teach people social relationships and other useful topics.

What's a Target? A local corner shop?

No it's the opposite of a local cornerstore.

They are. But this is CFC.

Ah, now this is an interesting discussion. I don't have problems meeting people in a more or less unknown environment in which I don't know anybody, but once I have a couple friends it will be hard for me to move outside of this zone of comfort. Doesn't help that I choose to stay home rather than going to a bar to drink or a club to dance (and drink).

My mother often complains that I should go out more often.

As long as she doesn't want it to become a permanent situation…

May I ask, if it is not an indiscretion, about the nature of the product?

Rant: When will I learn to stop making questions which response is irrelevant and meaningless? Because, I'm truly curious about it, but it is truly irrelevant anyway.

Music player.

I know, I know no one buys those anymore, but I can't be stuffed getting a proper phone.

This is not the first time I've been disappointed with this sort of purchase either. Damn my cheapness/tendency to be duped by respectable-sounding brands.

If you truly want to stop this, then you have to stop coming to OT at all.

Don't feel bad. I once bought a Coby CD player because they have a similar name and use the exact same font for their logo as Sony. I had been using it a week before I realized I had been duped.

My Autopager for Chrome extension has decided to update itself, which is well and good but for the fact it seems to have updated from "working fine as it was" to "not working at all".

Certainly mild inconvenience, but it also serves as a reminder as to how decadent I have become as to have an extension that turn pages (on forums and such) for me...

Losing eight inches off your waist is awesome, it really is, but it makes it a bit difficult to wear your pants, especially if your belts aren't small enough. Just an FYI for all those unaware of what rapid weight loss entails.

Walking around like I'm a wigger is not appealing when I'm actually wearing khakis and a dress shirt.

I've been wondering the same for years. To date, I'm still learning how to be less shy and less introverted. But I know books and advice articles can only go so far and actually have to do it in the real world.

In short, I've noticed that people are drawn to self-confidence and people that are sure of themselves. I've noticed on these boards that you're drawn to people who are sure of themselves and have a healthy self confidence to other posters like Synsensa and others.

I know that it's hard to develop a positive self esteem, but you're not the only one. I'm even in the process of getting my self-esteem back to healthy levels.

"Pfft. I know a genuine Panaphonics when I see it. And look, there's Magnetbox and Sorny."
