I left for work early so I would have plenty of time to get a new thermostat at the local Sutherlands. I stood in line for over 20 minutes behind a long line of people. They had other workers just lounging around yakking. I am driving 60 miles south tonight to a different store to get the same item out of principle, denying this store the sale.

I just watched 2001: A Space Oddessy for the first time. I feel that Stanley Kubrick has robbed me of two and a half hours of my life. It was one of the stupidest films I've ever seen, and I watched "I Heart Huckabees" before.
