She's informed me that she's planning a career in which she can work from home. Thus making it easier to have a family.
She seems serious, which is creepy to me. I'm only 19 as of a few seconds ago, I've never heard somebody worry about their biological clock before.

I got faking obliterated today...and it was a school day. Rum + herbal liquor = bad for the body...good for the souuuuul
On the one hand, it's an absolutely beautiful fall day outside, class has gone very smoothly, and I'm pretty sure I'm ready for my physics midterm tomorrow. On the other...I've just tentatively picked up NetHack a while ago and today advanced a wizard the farthest I've been yet. (spoilers, though I'm not exactly dispensing expert secrets, and haven't heard much more about the game other than some random webcomics + maybe a youtube video, but Nethack has that since of secrecy about it.) So, there I was, even had my cat still with me, only to be cornered in the gnomish mines and killed by...a white unicorn! One savage unicorn at that - I had an amulet that brought me back to life, and it chased me down and killed me (neutral, vegan human wizard who afaik hadn't transgressed) again. I'm pretty sure from now on whenever I find a scroll of genocide I'm dedicating it to unicorns. Also, more humorous than anything, when I first found the Oracle I didn't have enough gold and so instead got regurgitated a math theorem about P=NP. Annoying, but funny too.

I'm just now starting what may be the longest lab report I'll ever have to write, which is due Friday. I also have structures homework due Friday, and still haven't figured how to use the software for it as I was home sick the day they gave that tutorial.
Why must all substitute teachers be from somewhere in Eastern Europe and have an incomprehensible accent? It just makes it harder to know what we're supposed to be doing when they're already a bit clueless due to not usually teaching the class, and it's annoying. There are some times when it really doesn't matter, but when it's a substitute for an English class? No. Just no. The teacher of an English class, substitute or not, HAD BETTER BE A NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER OR AT LEAST BE CAPABLE OF BEING UNDERSTOOD!

I don't recall ever having foreign substitute teachers. Substitutes when I was in school were mostly retired teachers, often the ones who taught that same class before the current teacher was hied.
