It's the scientists themselves, they're classing any terrestrial planet outside the solar system earthlike. Besides, how's this the first? What about all those gliesis and such? I thought there were like 50 known terrestrial planets.

kulade went to get his hair cut today and the lady there was super eastern european and he couldn't understand want she was saying

"Au mač du šu vant mij tu cat ov šur er?"

Now I don't know how super eastern Europeans (Poles) are in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, but in England, they speak good English.

Well she wasn't Polish so I don't know is Eastern European is the right word; she seemed a little Romanian so I guess that makes her Central European.

Apparently you are not familiar with cfcot troll-based geogrophy.

Ha those were good groups. DIdn't one claim it was in North America...ah good times :goodjob:

"Au mač du šu vant mij tu cat ov šur er?"

According to Google Translate, this is Danish, and translates to "Au mac you su accustomed mij tu cat ov Sur is"

:crazyeye:

Got any research literature that corroborates that?

Screwup at Dell delayed my order.

Dell is a screw-up. Shipping me a laptop with a broken motherboard.

That incident a few years ago made me abhor all Dell products in perpetuity.

Actually, I just realized I'm not mad enough about college football today to make a good rant. Things went well enough as a whole, even  at USC losing a PAC-10 game again. However, I will say,

Rant: Non-USians not knowing what we mean by both "college" and "football" ;)

Also, I agree about the "Earthlike planet" thing. Sure, it is some news that it's a rocky planet, but that's not at all an accurate description.

Wasn't it just "terrestrial"?

It's basically what they've been doing. The big thing has been that they can find terrestrial planets now. Now since they've been calling all kinds of things like what he just showed earthlike, whether or not they're too far or close to the star or really big or really massive or tidally locked or whatever, thus my statement, er, bad english but whatever.
