The Cfc forums are now blocked at my school.
Before only CFC the main page was and thats easy to get around.. now its all blocked.

mine's been blocked since I discovered it, thankfully minecraftforums work! Which is hilarious, really, because nothing is censored there (except images, ofc) and here is pretty tame really.

Happily they have kept facebook unblocked. (they unblocked it from last year, god knows why). I used to go on here during lunch on my iPod.

iPods are banned at my school because last year, when it was teacher discretion, apparently some people got on the WiFi networks, which was evidently not met with approval. So now the wifi network is locked, AND iPods are banned, which is absolutely ********, because the thing that caused the ban has been removed, yet they were also banned...

My school is so hip, most of the teachers let us use iPods, during class. (when doing work)
And that must really suck, even normal iPods with out Internet? And I'd think that would be the point of the wifi to let students use it. :/

A few years ago at my high school somebody hijacked the "blocked page" message to go "Seig heil" or something like that. I dont get it.

Also, last year at school, the filters got messed up. First they somehow ended up blocking every site, and then they unblocked every site, and then they got inversed (so you could access facebook or porno just fine, but not the school's own site! I remember some students getting expelled or something for watching porno and accidentally leaving the sound on.) They finally got it fixed though.

I assume the hijacker was comparing the filter to Hitler. Depending on how the filter worked, it may have been a fair comparison, or just the hijacker playing the Godwin card.

I don't quite know how my school district's filter blocks sites, it appears to be arbitrary and random. I know that this site is blocked, although I know that other things like facebook and msn are not blocked.

In funnier events, a couple of years ago, the way the filter worked caused it to block the District's own website. It isn't blocked any more, though.

I am the worst in gym but Im not that bad,I think its because of my hair (Its not really long but it Isn't and army shave),I've got no idea what to do,Its still a long time until the first semester but I already have an F and he's probably going to give me another one in 2 days.I hope the school committee makes him give me a C cuz I've got A's in every class except Math (B)
