My optimism about one of my subjects has been dashed by looking at the possible questions for assessments constituting a total of 70% of my mark. They are damn hard, and I have no idea where to start.

Allergies. I want to go kill trees. And the pollen count is described as "low" right now.

April 20th and there is 8 inches and a snow day!

Ah, it begins.
Well, yeah. But it is just this subject, really. It's harder than other subjects. A straight history question, I can easily deal with, even if it takes time to come up with a decent answer. With this, however, I'm stuck at the beginning. It's actually two assessments. One's an essay. There are seven questions, all hard. I don't know where I would start on any of them. The second is a 'reflective portfolio'. What the crap is that?

I'm trying to get a head start, given that these are 2 of 6 assessments that I'll have due in the last couple of weeks of semester, but the difficulty is tempting me to just put it off until at least after midsem.
Use friends.
I have one friend doing this subject, and they're just as lost as me.

I left a 8 foot putt for an albatross (or double eagle as the yanks say ) short today . Left it short ! Criminal offense in the golfing world.

It is likely that if I live to 100 I will never have a chance like that again , and I did not have the balls to hit the damn thing hard enough.

Also, I have a German speaking test tomorrow. The scripted and rehearsed part I can deal with, but the teacher is going to ask a couple of questions, which I bet I'll be ill-prepared for.

Whaaaaa?? You have 8 inches up there?? Damn dude, move south like 40 miles or so. It's just raining here. ;)

I just caught that.

I walk home from work, I didn't bring a jacket this morning and it is going to start pouring rain in an hour or so :(

You live in Ireland and you didn't take a brolly with you?

I was being optimistic - it's about a week since it last rained.
