I guess it's pretty hard to realize that the Random Raves/Rants threads are OT-wide threads that is supposed to appeal to mostly all and not just one :/

bah humbug overly strict inconsistent teacher's grading. As in you can't do kgm^2/s^2 * kJ/1000J = kJ. Need to write out kgm^2/s^2 * 1J / (kgm^2/s^2) * 1 kJ/1000J = kJ.

that's definitely worth a letter grade off of an exam.

tl;dr- 100% correct unit conversions get marked points off. And on homeworks (Graded by TA's) they don't take off points for things like that.

About 400 dormant spam accounts left to delete. I really wish that when people throw out spam, they would also throw out the empty cans.

Perhaps you should submit them to a spammer database. I cant recommend any off-hand though. But they get information on known spammers so other people can stop spam.
