Random Raves 3 Happiness and Joy!

So I . . . . bought a car.

I hardly know whether to rave or not, all things considered. But I may, in the not so distant future, find myself with a roommate who doesn't have a car from which I can borrow rides. And I will keep taking the bus to work (which may actually cost more than the gas it would take to drive, but it is easier and slightly better for the environment).

I couldn't have picked a better place to go to school :D

Once in my math class, a kid rolled up a test and smoked it.

Spoiler :
He got suspended tho.

Finally! A service project.

There's a tri-stake YSA/SA service project (hurricane cleanup) this Saturday and somehow they're combining an activity in there with it. (because we were supposed to go skating this Saturday) It's bound to be fun. Mobile, Pensacola, and Fort Walton are going. I just hope I don't stumble into any poison ivy again. That's not cool.

My AP world history test wasn't as hard as I thought it would be :) I'm thinking I got a low A or a super high B, based on my keeping track of the ones I guessed on (I guessed on eight of 70 and I'm a decent guesser) That's with a grand total of zero minutes of studying(for which I blame civ and CFC).

I was laughing at my friend who studied for three hours last night the entire bus ride home.

We get the scores tomorrow.

Buyer's remorse?

What car did you buy?

A 1995 Toyota Corolla with 137K miles. No buyer's remorse, except that I am now a Car Owner. Also, it vibrates when stopped, which didn't show up during the test drive. But no big.

Also: turns out I haven't figured out how to turn off the radio. Now obvious power button or anything. And so today, while moving it on the street where it is parked, I heard something on the radio that threatened to make me angry all day. But then on the bus on the way to work, some random girl who was far, far too cheerful for 7:30 AM started talking to everyone on the bus about how we all need to be happy or something, and it somehow managed to unanger me.

Sounds like the type who will be back the next day with an AK if you ask me

I will complete all of my academic requirements for my major *this quarter*, which means I can either go part time the rest of the year and save some bread, or pick up a minor. I am still on track to get my diploma in May.

ROCK ON

Top grade in AP US History so far...hehehe. All the other Indian kids are envious!

Speaking of AP history... Got my first test back today from AP World History. 84% which curves to a 95%.
Bad on a normal test I know but the average score was somewhere around 50%. If you drop the top three, the average goes down another ten percent  Almost no study time either :goodjob:

Thank goodness Descartes is an easier read than Locke

I've been staying put for the past month due to a nasty bike crash. Today I got to running. Time to get the happy juices flowing again.

God, I've missed sports.
