This story put me in a good mood. It shows that maybe, just maybe, attitudes towards the poor in the US are slowly changing in a positive way.
Kunsthistorisches Museum. The big one opposite the identical building containing the Naturhistorisches Museum.
I've been to it both times I've been in Vienna, it's probably my favourite museum, just beating out the Rijksmuseum. Largely in both cases because I'm a sucker for Dutch Renaissance & masters, but also because both museums are just presented really well, independent of their content.
Oh, might have a look then, because I planned to go to the natural history museum anyways, guess I can also drop by there.
is this a rave about paying taxes
I'm getting a new office, this one has a carpet and a less annoying heating/cooling system! And it's further away from the kitchen meaning less noise!
The move feels like a downgrade because my old office looked a bit badass. It was basically 2 storage closets joined in an unholy union to form a really odd looking triangular office. The director threw in 2 leather seats that sit in the corner, I put up a world map, some white boards, and some other stuff, and it was a weird uncarpeted office with oddly functioning vents that usually made it a bit too cold or a bit too warm.
I'm being moved so that "the {X} team can all sit together", but I think there are other reasons as well. I think it will also be a better fit for me, in a quieter space. Plus the carpet will make me feel more like a human, and not like somebody who lives in a glorified closet. So overall I am embracing this change with open arms
