I've never had a veneer, or really know much about them. This is painful to do?

She had to give me anaesthetic injections for ten teeth, remove the old ones, clean everything up, use these string things to peel back my gums, then remove that to take an impression. Then she had to craft the temporary and fit that in. The whole process took nearly four hours. I have this temporary one for about four weeks.

I don't understand why dental care isn't considered the same as normal healthcare, considering that it can lead to brain infections or heart disease.

They're unlikely to be worse than mine, unless you had a serious tooth condition. I've already had at least three teeth removed and this is my second abscess in eight years.
