The swastika (that particular version, of which the more infamous version is a mirror image rotated 45 degrees) is an ancient and venerable symbol of many things, and should not be held responsible for the fact that such bad use was made of a different version.

True. Though maybe don't say that to people. When I told my (Buddhist) friend it was a Buddhist symbol, he got all offended and called me a racist

I successfully made myself a pitcher of sweet tea, yay, I finally have something to drink other than that most hideous of liquids, H2O...

Just got back from my final lecture in one of my courses and the lecturer told us what was on the exam. Hooray!

Great to hear it Firestorm! Reminds me of earlier this year when a 12 year-old lad got killed by a car at my school. It's not a nice experience.

Hope he makes a complete recovery.

From the rants thread.

He's still alive. There's no brain damage detected and his odds for surviving are greatly improved.:)
Very good to know.

Today was also a really nice day, not too hot at all.

I also have a big plastic trunk that I picked up cheap at a tag sale last weekend. Good for storage and whatnot.

I've been done with school since the 21st suckers :p

I still don't know and I'm afraid to ask because I don't want to accidentally make someone cry.

Well...keep an eye on him. A kid did that at my school...and succeeded at the second attempt. :(

No, he said a kid at his school was killed in a car crash, and he wished the kid a complete recovery. I think he was joking. I'm not sure.
He told a story about a kid being killed in a car crash. Then he wished the kid at FS's school a complete recovery.
