Yeah, like when I came home from a graduation party last year completely drunk(friend dropped me off, I didn't drive) and I passed out in my front yard walking to the door, and my mom found me at 6AM then and just thought it was funny and didn't yell at me. Kept asking if I had a hangover though.

i just got command and conquer the first decade which has generals( my avatar is a tribute to this game) and tiberian sun. two very cool games. i also got red alert 3, which is awesome

The best game in The First Decade is Red Alert 2 with Yuri's Revenge, hands down. Tiberian Sun had potential but it never really lived up to it IMHO, and was merely a good game instead of a great one; it suffered from moddability issues too.

there were only two things in red alert two the should have kept in generals, the ability to have no super weapons in a skirmish game and none of those ******** general powers( also included in red alert 3) theyre no fun because they have no counter and are unavoidable yet cause a whole lot of damage.
and while tiberian sun isnt the best game out there i love the setting.

The setting is about the only thing I liked about TS. One of those games you want to love because the setting is so cool, but you just can't get into it. I tried it again and the limited resolution killed it too.

i think its fun, the campaign is pretty challenging and the graphics aren't bad. overall it isn't a bad game, but it could have been better.

What was that exactly? All I remember is Einstein trying to have stopped WW2 from happening by going back in time to kill Hitler, then the Soviets went psycho. I know the whole story from RA2 though.

it starts with you having to kill all inhabitants of a village (enemy of the people!) and then only gets better, involving everybody killing each other, stalin shagging his hot secret service chief (who later gets killed by him eventually ) and in the end the bald guy who kept suddenly appearing, whispering things into the various characters ears and disappearing again throughout the game kills stalin and makes you (the new hero general of the war) his puppet head of the soviet union.

Actually, she kills him, takes over, and then Kane kills her.

Yeah. That's where Tiberian Dawn starts, IIRC.

Generals + Zero Hour was a lot of fun. Red Alert 2 was by far my favourite game though.
