What's the shortest ban anyone on CFC ever got? Or am I breaking the rules for PDMA?

Mmmhh... I'm not sure if bans could be handed out for less than a day...
I remember banning an account, which had been hacked, and we got that situation resolved within 2 days I think.
Not sure if ever kicked someone out temporary for a day, but could definitely be .


Rave: Extremely busy days .
Tuesday evening I net with an acquaintance, with whom I had not talked for a long while. We updated each other, and then she told me about her recent adventures with shrooms and tantra. Last year we had an ONS, but this time we did not have time :/.

On wednesday I left town, bc on Thursday one of my friends defended his PhD, and I was... his “best man“ for this occasdion (think this fits best without explaining the whole ceremony; is NL specific). This meant long dinners and drinks with old friends (2 flew in for this) over 3 days. The ceremony went well, lunch was nice. The party was also nice, and I think he liked the movie we made for him and the presents we bought.

I went back on Saturday to play a Cluedo game RL (app/GPS based), with a group of colleages,also really nice, and in the evening went to party with 4 pretty girls .
And today we had boardgames, was also again really nice (ticket to ride, 7 wonders, and love letter).

Life is good .

I'm feeling great about getting rid of a lot of stuff. I thought it would be hard but really I've just been like, 'does this park joy' (lol) and then binning stuff like crazy. There's a bunch of stuff I meant to get rid of years ago but never set aside the time to do it and as long as we had closet space to stuff it in, it managed to stay around. Now I don't have space so it's got.to.go. I've unpacked about 3/4 of my stuff but now I'm confronted with boxes full of stuff I don't really want to get rid of but no longer have a space for. I think I will get rid of at least half of what's left but there's going to be some hard choices to make today.

I also had an epiphany about my housing situation that made me feel a lot better about downgrading to a smaller place. We've always justified a second bedroom as a place for friends to sleep when they come over and as a home office but the reality is that in the last 2 years at my old apartment, we had exactly 1 overnight guest and I worked from the office maybe two dozen times. Effectively, this means I was paying about a grand a month just for junk-storage space and that is not at all worth it. I think even if I land a job in the area soon, I'll stick with this apartment for a while and use the extra funds to pay down my student loans.

Ha! The corner is objectively the safest spot in the room, since no one can attack you from behind. It also has a slightly higher than average temperature. Who's the real winner now?

The landlord did a pumpkin patch thing yesterday where they gave away free pumpkins, hot chocolate and popcorn to the residents and set up activities for the little bastards. It was a fun break during our move and the hot chocolate was really good and we picked a pumpkin to carve a jack-o-lantern in. Not sure if I want to carve Bender or Nibble in the pumpkin this year. Anyone got any thoughts?
