Which reminds me, I do have one request:). If we do get into a war with the council and donsigs playing the turns for them then i want to play ours :please::D

It's nice to see that I'm not the only one that has grudge-fueled, personal vendettas as a core value. More power to you, Robi!

I wouldn't say its a core value, in fact i'm quite the opposite in that respect.

However every now and then you run into a person who is able to inspire a grudge-fueled personal vendetta

I have to wonder what he's like in RL. Could that just be a personna he's developed for these games? If he's always like that, it will be surprising if he ends up dying of old age. :mischief:

Maybe we can job share:D

By the way, I ran into Donsig the other day.

while I can guess the hard feelings you must have, maybe you can enlighten the newcomers as to why are you all so keen to kick 'poor' donsig

The reasons are many....
He has a very smug and confrontational attitude.
For Robi D it's how Dinsog's (his nickname) team (TNT) attacked Robi D's team (Donut). Robi D pounded Dinsog in so many battles due to poor tactics it's ridiculous. I'll let Robi expound.
With our team, KISS, it was his leadership that lead them to not negotiate any deals with us. I think the view was why deal with those idiots? So we sneak attacked them...on idiot's day April Fool's Day. He was such a baby about it that he quit on his team. Bring in BCLG....BCLG took over turnplay for TNT in what could best be described as a heroic effort. BCLG, imo, more than anyone should have the opportunity to beat the living daylights out of Dinsog more than anyone.

The bottom line is Dinsog makes a phenomenal villian. He's the darkside.

@ Kickbooti :rotfl: I believe my target is the well worn one in the top left corner;)

With donsig, yes TNT sneak attacked us (Doughnuts) and yes i romped all over given the childish tactics they used (reading through the forum after the game Provolution was the one who advocated the tactics), so our MW's wacked the Immortals around the park. Anyway this isn't enough to instill a grudge in me. During the war donsig was particular smug and superior about the whole thing, and despite several attempts at getting a fair peace deal their demands were overtly one sided. Even when they were clearly losing they still insisted we pay tribute to them for peace:lol: :crazyeye:.
But even this does not instill a grudge in me. The final straw was his attitude after the game, he constantly tried to vindicate his actions (even storming off without warning because he had had enough of losing, but he tried to make out that it was doughuts that were unresonable with the peace treaties and get this, that tnt was the victim of our aggression:crazyeye:.

Now all this put together does instill a grudge in me, and given the chance i would love to give him another lesson in advanced warfare tactics

well I want a front seat on any wars.. I don't want to play, but I want to watch.

I am not a good war-monger as has been demonstrated in numerous PBEM's and PTBS games. so I think that I am the worst candidate to perform the decapitation.

OOOOH!!! This is sizing up to be a great game. Can't wait.

thanks for the added info. Sounds a bit as if people forget that this is a mere game. But that's the nature of a competition. (I got my fair share of beating in SGOTM's).

Well, warmongering against the AI is one thing (I consider myself quite ok at after numerous AW games). But fighting against humans will be an entirely different thing.

I think one of the biggest differences in human war is more defensive units. Fast units and siege weapons really need to be protected.

A good read on human vs. human warfare (IMO) is Wackenopenair's pbem versus Killercane.

Here's the spoiler.
