Thanks for the info Captain, seems a long time ago since i was wondering about opening negotiates with you about the oppositional stance. I've given ilduce two days to either find some support, negotiate with the imperials or step down, he needs to highlight what he wants to do. Seeing as like Cull said, people weren't voting for him individually. If they knew they were the election might have been different.
Got it.

He's trying to change the game to match his playstyle and not change his playstyle to match the game.
I never said I would do that.

If you try to push through a turnset without having any support, talking to the imperials or showing your plans to the public then i step down as opposition leader and appoint Arya.
I stated 3 times that I would show my plans to the public and wait for some support before pushing it through.

Marvelous, a resposne.

On Armed Revolution
People are only planning armed revolution if you try to cling to power with no supporters. Otherwise it will be a simple vote for re-election.

On Whosit and Trust
I said what? Which coalition was this? The Aegis coalition mark I... oh wait... oh please no... are you saying all of this choas... of this sillyness is because of that email you miss-read? *facepalm*

I'm sorry but i'm going to have to post part of that pm up here for everyone to see now because this is ridiculous.

Spoiler :

RAVUS SAID: Oh i know Arya is extreme. But just like Whosit didn't want to be dishonourable and dump you during the Aegis election so do i not want to be dishonourable and dump Arya now.

YOU REPLIED: He wanted to dump me? If he did, I might start reconsidering trusting him. the fact was, my parties votes made up exactly half our votes (well I guess every member of whosits party voting for my party did that) so we would have lost if I wasn't in it.

If you re-read the portion of that PM wrong again then i might honestly cry from the sheer lunacy of this situation. ilduce you have just declared yourself your own worst enemy. My remark was talking about how i, LIKE WHOSIT, was going to be trustfull to my coalition partner.

On Open Borders and the Cull bribe and other miss-communications
So you have officially dropped the idea? Plus the Cull offer was a bribe? See this is what i'm saying. Your intentions are not clear. You need to draft things up properly when you are a leader. Communication is key to sustaining the trust of everyone.

-

All in all you need to be more coherant. A president needs to lead people, at the moment you are merely sprouting of ideas now and then and not explaining your thought process or tailoring your posts for mass consumption.

But more importantly you still havn't mentioned the fact that i highlighted that you are now a leader with nearly no support. The Aegis's strength came from the Imperials. They provided half the Aegis vote themselves and all of the members are active.

...

I really can't believe you made this move just because of miss-reading that one PM from me. I honestly... This is just insane.

On what a President needs
A President needs to be competent, supported and able to use power to further a goal for the masses/nation and not just use power to retain power.

If you guys want more evidence of ilduce taking this that are blatantly obvious in completely the wrong way, I have a very long string of PM's that I can show you.

And Cull, that offer to join the CPS since you're unaligned still stands. WIM you're welcome back anytime.

I play the dyslexia card. That pm was the whole reason I didn't trust whosit. As it was misleading. When I responded to your post, you could have told me I misread it. I hereby resign from my post due to my incompetence.

OK then. Just gimme a minute to wake up.

Wait wait wait wait wait wait. WAIT.

OK, if I read this right, Ilduce just resigned after Ravus told him that his only reason for not trusting Whosit was bogus?

Ummmmmm . . . .

Ilduce, let's get down to brass tacks. You are frankly THE most unpopular president in English history. However, that's not to say that you can't do a good job. In fact, if you go on to do a good job as president then who's laughing in the end? If you quit now then even if I add nothing about it to the Hall of Presidents the players will never forget that you were a "wannabe president who couldn't take the pressure". Your call though - you sure you wanna go through with this?

My whole reason for wanting to be president was flawed. It wasn't that I caved under the pressure, but my reasoning for being president this time disappeared. Its whosits call but I feel like I owe it to him to let him become president.

The fact is, Whosit was right in our pm message, that as everyone hates me I wouldn't be able to do anything without an AR arising. However I decided that was better then never being president, which was the other option. It turns out (well at least back then), whosit was right. The fact is, in 2 days time, a vote of no-confidence is being called (and I don't see anyway I can stop it). I would rather someone in my own coalition be president then risk someone who politically I am against, becoming president. That is the reason I am resigning. Politically I feel that this is the better move.

Alright. It looks like Ilduce has made his final decision. Am I still looking forward to a Vote of No Confidence, or can we move on?

I agree completely with Ravus.

Ilduce - OMG! The pics are a "few turns old"! OMG! OMG! OMG! I can't use them!!! OMG!

Whosit - Consider putting aside your hatred for Arya for the moment. The friend of your friend need not be your friend.

AOR: 8

Good to know we are back in stable hands.

AOR: 4

Wait... what? Friend of ... friend. Who's who here??

Anyway, I suppose it's been easy to mistake it, but I don't hate Arya. He just rubs me the wrong way pretty often, so I don't get along with him well.
