Red Dwarf Mafia: The Smeggening [Game Thread - Concluded]

While I'm here, I'll say that Winston's lists could just as easily be a wolf collecting lots of data to over inflate his posts and make them look more content heavy than they actually are as they could be town actually trying to be helpful. Especially since going after inactives seems low risk to me, if that makes sense.

The quiet people are easier to process, lower profile and need poking into greater activity, so it makes sense to start there.

The most active people, by contrast, are already giving us plenty of info to analyse further down the line, and will require much more effort to process. They also seem to be dying off at a much higher rate than the low postcount types.

You know, Visorslash is always saying how he can read Jarrema so well, and what with the wagon and suspicion on him, I'd like to hear Visor's thoughts on that. What's your read?

I'm sure Visor's thoughts would be most enlightening on that and any number of other subjects relating to this game.

Tally.

3 Jarrema - IFlea, Space, Cuth
2 IFlea - Luizeu, Takhsis
2 Luizeu - Landlubber, KM
2 Sprig - Murska, Pigeon
2 Cuth - Auto, chox
Al Sips - Remake
BLog - Zack

King Morgan, you missed my vote for Sprig. And if he hasn't shown up by the time the day ends I'll switch to Cuthillis, since I still think he's scum and would rather lynch him than an inactive that I'm unsure about. Scum read > No read.

What's the point of a pressure-vote if you say that you'll unvote it anyways?

I mean that's just semantics. It's totally feasible for the mafia to be able disable his bulletproof ability in some way.

There's still something here that doesn't add up:

For one thing, Kennigit incessently claimed that his role implied things about scum-teams or items. Neither bulletproofness nor roleblockability, nor cancelable bulletproofness (which I wouldn't call roleblockability, but I guess someone could) say anything about that.

Murska, Did Kennigit elaborate on his old claims in any way in his PM?

hmm... I like Winston's case on BSmith...

Something to look at after Jarrema swings, or if Jarrema speaks up and says something amazingly town.

Jarrema, care to speak up? You haven't said anything today. I've played with you before, I know town Jarrema can do better.

I personally don't think BSmith ever makes post #225 as scum:

Honestly I don’t have a lot of thoughts about the game yet. This is the beginning of D2 and aside from the D1 shenanigans there is still very little to go on. I have yet to know the impact of my action last night (didn’t get a PM, so I assume I don’t get confirmation) and I haven’t really had the time to send a PM to the person I performed the action on to get a reaction.

And before you (or anyone) asks, no I will not go into more detail on my ability.
Claiming a mysterious ability out of the blue on Day 2 under no pressure? Combined with the blatant attempts at networking, that screams townie BSmith to me.

I think that Luizeu's following of my by now inane accusations on Internet Flea is enough for me to vote for him.
I must sleep now, but if the Inquisitor would like to erase me from existence before I get around to analysing the higher posters, my wife would certainly appreciate it (and don't even think about posting that smiley, El Tacko...)
I wonder why your wife wants you to sleep… :groucho:

There, there. :pat:

eh, yeah good point

Stop bogarting my free pass Auto.
What about goblins?
Al Sipsclar, Sprig, Xym are all very quiet.
It's pretty creppy.
DoubleA has posted alot but all meaningless, Winston did a copy pasta and a sentence of analysis how can Landlubber call him town for that?
D1 is always meaningless (except for scum bussing each other for the hell of it) and D2 is still too sparse for me to analyze, so I don't know if you expected anything there but you probably shouldn't. Today's been pretty quiet for whatever reason (mine is Legend of Zelda), but I'll have a go at it after dinner I suppose.

Also I was gonna address the Winston thing but he basically said what I was. Winston, are we twins?

You can't call those things you eat ‘dinner’, Battery-man.

btw Winston's sound reasoning in post #440 all but clears me from being considred as a Mafiat, ever.

Oh, yes, fFoS: DoubleA.

I don't like how he jumped in right away with the same case as before, and then left it at that. It's fair enough to give Jarrema a poke, but focusing on the same people all the time is only going to help the scum. Overall, my impression of him is similar to my impression of Newyn, but a little bit scummier.

I've been waiting for someone to bring me up today; I had a whole spiel ready about Takhisis putting too much emphasis on the PM and possibly deliberately drawing attention away from the Jarrema or Pouter Pigeon wagons yesterday. And by the time I see this Takhisis has undermined it by saying they were putting too much emphasis on the PM.

But I'll note the switch to Luizeu ties him up with Jarrema today, and it's still possible that Takhisis is trying to save a scum buddy.

More pressingly, it's 75% of the way through the Day, the top bandwagons have three votes each and there's nine votes in the wind, let's consolidate on someone.

A scumbuddy he might be, but not mine. Also, notice that I am third on the counterwaggon.

And hah! I knew you'd do something that silly, Double A.
