If anybody is still answering questions.....

If the Assyrians were in the Mesopotamia Scenario, what should their Unique Unit be???

How about UU's for these other Mesopotamia civs....

Akkadians
Nubians
Minoans
Elamites
Kassites
Mitanni
Israelites

I'd be tempted to use extra-strength Chariots for the Assyrians.

As for the Akkadians, Sumerians, and Elamites, by 2750 BCE they were among only a handful of peoples using copper (also included in here would be early inhabitants of the Balkans and Asia Minor as well as 2nd Dynasty Egypt) so I'd almost be tempted to give them a heavier-duty Warrior (2-1-1?) showing their pre-bronze-age advantage over their contemporaries.

I'll also give the matter some more thought / research. :)

I usually advocate a super-chariot for the Assyrian UU, but Louis XXIV usually disagrees with me (and he's almost certainly better read than I am on the subject)! Then again, he's not certain what the Assyrian UU should be. If ya do a Google search of these forums for Assyrian UU Louis, you might find some useful discussion on the matter.

Erlander is the obvious choice here; not only did he rule a long time, but has had a big influence on Sweden. The Swedish title is Statsminister (Minister of State). The king is just a figurehead, and doesn't "rule" anything much.

you guys are $$$ :D

one more tought to chew on...

which country's leader should be the 'one'?

by this i mean which 'grouped' civ should be the one to have the 'official' leader. again, some are easy but there are others that could be a toss-up...

civs such as:
Central America
Lowlands
Scandinavia
N Africa
S America
SE Asia
African Union
Arab League
