SLBMS CLOSE TOO DEVELEOPMENT!
Today a prototype SLBM was testedin the north pacific. The new SLBM has a flight time of 8-15 minutes as apposed to the ICBMs 25-30 minute flight times. but instead of a range 5000km like the ICBM it only has a range of 1500 kilometers.

Madagascar will have near relations to INTO
The goverment of Madagascar is sad to inform that they can not join INTO.
The Madagascarian empire will instead join GDI as their african friends are there, But they hope to have near relations to INTO and hope the two alliances can live in peace.

GDI and INTO space station laboratories report a huge burst of radiation from each blast. Scientists believe this is NOT a natural phenomenon and that is of artifical origin. All nations' scientists swear that no nation has yet developed technology to launch a missle as far as Mars to have the kind of effect the spotted explosions seem to have. Upon the first sightings of these explosions, a GDI space station moved the closest any human has ever gone to another planet, and detected radio-type signals being broadcast. No other information is availible.
Madagascar, East Canada, India, the Philipenes, Italy, and Iberia join the GDI, while Russia, Gibotto, the Arab Empire, Egypt, and Quebec join INTO.
Korea develops tactical nuclear weapons (replace air dropped)
GDI forces land in Iron Fist ZUluland. Pressing inland to meet with a Zulu offensive toward the beach, some Zulu forces were liberated by a GDI command of Italians, Iroquois, Canadians, Texans, and Vikings, who coordinated the assualt. Codenamed Operation Thor, the GDI troops landed met with the Zulu, and pulled them out of the Iron Fist Empire in less than 5 days.
On the Nigerian front, GDI, Egyptian, and Korean forces have driven the Iron Fist back somewhat, although the task is made more difficult by the large number of Zulu who have entered the Iron Fist army.
