Well, one is supposed to condemn propaganda on both sides.

Indeed. What I find really ironic here is that we have no idea how much creative cropping, or even creative Photoshopping, the Israelis did to the original image, since they have yet to release their own raw footage or any of the raw video or raw images taken by the protestors.
The uncut photo released by IHH shows the hand of an unidentified activist holding a knife.

seriously, there is no defense for this. Just admit people with your ideology can be scumbags too and move on.
Hmm. I thought all the video and photos were confiscated by the Israelis. As it turns out, they actually did "delete" them, but the images were apparently recovered after the fact.Uh...the 'original image' was released by the IHH.
Attracting accusations of attempting to cover up what really happened during the raid, Israeli forces confiscated video footage, audio recordings and photographs from activists and journalists it detained after the raid.
But in this instance, they failed. The activist who took the photographs was a member of IHH, the Turkish group linked to Islamic extremists that was at the centre of the raid. IHH said it managed to restore the images thanks to "superior Turkish technology" and they were duly published by Hurriyet, Turkey's largest circulation newspaper.
The group apparently thought the photographs would embarrass Israel and show how their activists ministered to wounded Israeli soldiers even as their colleagues lay dying.
But the IDF has welcomed the publication of the pictures, saying they were "clear and unequivocal proof" that the activists "intended to kill Israeli soldiers".
Cropping or resizing to fit a page or something is entirely different to cropping/resizing it to edit out pertinent parts of the photo. They could have run the photo with the knife being seen just as well as the cropped version without the knife. Someone just didnt want the 'humanitarians' to be seen wielding weapons.
Why aren't you complaining about that?

People of all ideologies can be scumbags, that obviously true.
But I'm not just going to say Reuters has some sort of anti-Israel bias just because of this photo being cropped, for points others have made.
Now then, Fox News's (D) confusion issue is another story, because its done repeatedly. If you want to say Reuters is biased, I'm going to need another few instances of something like this occurring.
To me, why would they even be bothered to remove the knife? It look like a kitchen knife. Maybe he's the ship's chef who suddenly decided to grab the nearest sharp pointy thing when the Israeli Commandos boarded the ship. Kinda funny to me, I wouldn't be grabbing a kitchen knife if Israeli Commandos came to my house. Kinda useless if you ask me.
Looking at the first pic, it actually looks more like a hunting knife.
Which I doubt is very useful for cooking.
Maybe it is for cutting lamb bones, if that is what the knife is for, only if indeed he was the chef - or maybe a Steven Steagal in Under Siege.Read the OP. They did it before during the Beirut campaign.

Didnt Mobboss defend FOXNEWS for editing in footage and inflating numbers of teaparty protesters ?
Dosnt Mobboss often defend accidental "mistakes" by FOXNEWS all the time? By pointing out how other agencies accidently make "mistakes"
Didnt Mobboss Defend FOXNEWS for putting in (D) where there should be a (R) ?
I have a feeling this thread will be necroed come the next FOXNEWS the usual business thread gets posted. And a certain unnamed someone comes and defend a certain news organisation.
