Revolution IOT

What the heck. Rejoining as Urun.

Im coming for you Egypt.

That's it, I give up on waging war in any IOT forever.

One, I am not switching sides. Stop being over dramatic mosher.

Two, Urun is the country I left, and Sone is always wanting people to rejoin. And apparently Mosher has failed to send orders for Urun until this turn.

Three, its a game. I am rejoining as the country I left as. Not that big of a deal.

The Dominion wants a report on Qing's diplomatic attitude to the Romans and whether a possible 'alliance against a common foe' is available...

We also request Urun joints in a assault to help us, Russia and others counter Rome's military might.

The stats sheet says the Qing are loyal to the Romans. Understandable I suppose. :p

Sone said in chat it would be possible for me to client the Qing myself, but why do that? I don't want to get involved in the quagmire that is the Great War. :p

If you do client them you can make Qing neutral, fuss making a access point for refugees and a emergency escape for the many merchants in China.

Also remember that if China falls so does our trade and the Coastal Nations may start taxing you with their might if you do not take the chance to liberate a fellow ally, even if said ally made the simple stupid mistake of following everyone else in declaring war.

Official inquiry for the Lord GM, Sonereal of IOTistan, then!

Would it be possible for Riccio to client Qing and thus remove them from the war (as they would now be part of the neutral Riccese sphere)?

They would be hit with the Lost the Great War penalty, but yes. Regular China would be hit with rebel penalties until they leave the Great War as well because the rebel technically still exists and the Great War is locking in its effects in that regard.

Well, Inner Dominion of China, what saith you on the matter? The Qing are open to our suzerainty, and while Riccio accepting it will cost China some territory, it will also remove the guillotine looming overhead.

The choice is yours, China.

We can see to the Qing after Rome; the ideal would be that we forge ourselves a alliance with Qing but we have to rely on our army spending.

Is there a price for Riccio to enter the war?

Riccio remains fully committed to neutrality.

Riccio would however, be open to overseeing the Qing acceding to the Phoenix Bond, thus guaranteeing trilateral peace and mutual defense between Riccio, China and the Qing.

Remember that if Riccio makes Qing China part of its sphere, it will have lost the Great War, and will be effectively useless.

Unless Riccio joins the war on the Roman side, of course :mischief:

Riccio has a defence alliance with China; you have better luck convincing them to go to war against you due to their neutrality (which I admit I should have followed but it is too late now...)

China wishes to open peace talks with Rome. We are willing to turn coat if it is needed to defend the Dominion from Qing and so on.

Son, I hereby declare war on everyone.
