[RFC] The History of the Arab World

Nothing to say, really, except to pay some more compliments. Oh, and, looks like Germany only has a fev Islamic cities... might vant to send some missionaries over? Germany tends to be a really good ally.

Thanks. I have forbidden myself to use missionaries to convert cities, only religion spreading via my UP and automatically is allowed. Germany is my vassal.

Eduhum is right, I'll have to finish this story first, so you can expect 1-2 updates coming this week.

However, feel free to post ideas about the next story here.

Just Wanted to Say I thought your Stories were awesome, This one Included.I have Just one small request: could you split up the Pictures, having to scroll back and forth across the screen is really annoying. As to the next game I would quite like to see one as the US or Britain.

I'm thinking something as India or maybe the Vikings might be interesting to do a story on.

Thanks to you all!:D

@Dem Taqat: Hmm, they are shown correctly on my screen. Does anybody else have the same problem?

An update is coming up.

Although Al-Wathiq's European campaign had ended, his Indonesian campaign had only began with the occupation of Java. Al-Wathiq next plans were to gain a foothold on the Malay Peninsula and occupy the island of Sumatra.

Khmers had an significant garrison at the city of Singapura, an important location guarding the Straight of Malacca. However, the Arabian army had been reinforced by fresh platoons from India and Middle East. The Arabian navy also provided important support by surrounding the city and keeping the defenders under constant shelling. Thus, after only couple days of sieging Singapore fell under the more modern Arabian Forces.

Simultaniously a smaller Arab force occupied Sumatra and its most important population centre Padang without facing significant opposition. These successes satisfied Al-Wathiq to the point, where he saw that it was fit to sign peace with Khmers and their masters China. China was eager to comply, as the Khmers were allowed to remain as a buffer between the Caliphate and the Chinese Empire.

Meanwhile in Africa a small Arabian force captured the last significant native city. However, the Arabs were not keen to keep it, so it was given to the Malinese to act as an Indian ocean port.

The Arabian Caliphate now reached from France to Java and from Samarqand to Zanzibar. Most of Europe (France, England, Germany, Turkey) had been vassalised under the Caliphate and Africa was almost completely under Arabian supervision as Mali was An Arabian Sultanate. 40% of the world's population followed Islam and the Caliphate was the one and only.
