Rhye's and Fall of Britannia

@Everyone that is following this:
New update will have the Scottish and Irish added with a map that has the nations already made all starting at the same time in the right spots. I'll need to add something to fill up the coast of France though. Maybe the Bretons in Brittany and also have the Franks split into 3 separate kingdoms?

If you want, I can show you where place provinces.
You could have the Franks start with a strong city and the rest be independent and barbarian.

For some reason, when I load this mod, there is no map of Britain, but I can go to Play Now and play without UPs and UHVs and all that. Should this happen? I would like this to work. I have downloaded it 4 times now.

There is no map in this download. I am working on it right now.
There are also no UPs or UHVs because as I said: This is a Pre-Alpha. This is all making everything else previously. For the beta, I'll start with two of the premade civs and work my way up. Once they are all in and it is working but not balanced, I'll name it version 1.

I probably should have read this...:wallbash:

When you have the map up, do you want provinces named after the modern ones of today?

And are you going to eventually add unions like RFCE++ did?
Example: Essex was annexed by Wessex in 825, so have a union between to the two in 825.
Or something like that

Thanks for the idea of merging provinces. :) One question: What would I name them BUT the modern names? The Celtic ones are no doubt horrid and hard to find nonetheless. Other than the countries themselves of course.

The Kingdom of Kent in the province of Kent seems a little odd. Try to find geographic terms instead of geopolitical ones or else you will have this a lot. It may be hard to find large enough geographic areas though. I would help do this for you but I kinda need a map to work from.

True. Map will be up when I figure out this Python Exception. Posting the exception asap.
It is an initialization error right before I get onto the map.
Exception on load up:

Can you just post the map? it would be good to see before it becomes more integrated so that if anyone finds a massive problem with it it can be changed.

The problems began to happen when I put the civs in. I'm guessing that the problem is in that general area. I've narrowed it down to a thousand or so lines of code! YES!

((I can't remember the page I got the map off of and this map and it would not work at all without the version I have))

You should consider adding the Antonine Wall and is the Roman Empire supposed to represent the Roman evacuation of Britain or the domain of Soissons?

The Roman evacuation of Britain. They would have alot of other civ's core provinces, wouldn't have a good economy, etc. There would only be a few praetorians((ten max)) that would flip at the start.
